Hi everyone! I'm curious on why while submitting the picture to the Fakemon thread, they come out smaller than their actual size? I thought this was a sign that they were too big, so I resized them, but they come out very small.

Any advice?

Knowing a good a bit about web development stuff, they most likely have a built-in scaler for various aspects of the site (like Posts and PMs for example) to prevent overflow (having stuff hanging off per say). Due to this, down-scaling the image most likely will not help. Also, actually attaching images (like attaching a file to a e-mail) to the post downsizes them to a "thumbnail" compared to using the

You are absolutely welcome! :D Yeah, definitely use the bb code tag and let the scaler handle the rest. ;) I would say though that since this is for a contest, I would recommend just using the simple attach file approach so you can save space on whatever service you use to host images on (like Google Drive, Drop Box, etc.) and also retain the archiving aspect of your post (so people can view it just fine years from now).[/QUOTE]

Ah gotcha. What is the [img] bb code per se? I see a direct link and IMG link available to copy in Photobucket (along with HTML and email/IM). I tried using both, but I get either "invalid link" or "link is too large". But yeah, if needed I can still use the attachment method lol!

Sorry for the trouble ;-;

No problem my friend! :) Here's an example below of how to use the [img] BB Code tag:

Hope this helps! :D

looks like you got it fixed up, but yeah, the forum uploader automatically resizes images down (likely to reduce the load on hosting and such), and so isn't exactly a good resource for uploading stuff outside of 3ds screenshots and over small stuff

(also, you may of just also had the file attachment active, but not the image itself in the post. which would've also turned it thumbnail size)
