I decided—following my first blog post [07.26.2014]—to use my second to share some pictures of my first town, Applewin. The pics cover different periods. I've been playing Applewin since I've been playing "Animal Crossing: New Leaf"—August 2013. So, here are numerous pictures which, for me personally, stood out for one reason or another. —Candy83

My first invite: Twiggy asked secondary human character Nick to have a seat right next to her. A first-ever such invitation! Friendship had truly blossomed. Nick was thrilled.

Future resident: Way back when, Nick had the opportunity to wait on a visiting Rosie at The Roost Cafe. She has since become a regular resident of Applewin. And from a below picture, you can see where she moved.

Consistently with computer: Kathy is the [secondary] human who has always had a computer. This picture is when she was starting out. It's been upstairs in her house ever since. Back then, that second floor was a tiny room. Later, with a pic showing her with Stitches, she has grown…along with her room.

A growth moment: Walt became the first villager that I cared about and had to eliminate. The Cranky kangaroo has a good heart. But I knew that part of the structure of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" requires that the player evolves along with his/her town. Walt was original, slotted at No. 1 on Day #01, and the first for which I felt a measure of guilt.

Kidd's got that holiday spirit! That sensitive Smug goat Kidd arrived in his Santa suit to say hello to Mayor Jill. (They were both decked out.)

A "Dreamy" first: Since having joined The Bell Tree Forums in November 2013, I took my time with my then-current villagers before assessing which "Dreamies" were truly "Dreamy" for me. The first cast was the beautifully blue unicorn Julian. On [his] Day #01 in Applewin, he greets Mayor Jill with irresistible charm—worth millions.

He's quite the Stitch[es]! My second most-wanted Dreamy, the Lazy bear cub Stitches, cracked me up with this fair warning delivered to Mayor Jill.

Get me reset—stat! For months I did not know one could and should plot-reset an incoming villager's house. Rosie's disturbance of bushes, right on the north side of town (and next to Nick and next to the Main Street/train tracks), informed me that you have to really anticipate. It wasn't too regrettable. It has worked out. (Just as it did with fellow neighbor Stitches.) But after Rosie, no arrivals have been located without plot resets.

Lesson learned: The plot-resetting procedure was more than a Lucky charm. I worked in getting Lucky to be located exactly where a fellow Lazy, Drago, was. The plot-reset efforts are necessary and worth it.

Room enough for two: Stitches and Applewin original Jambette bonded. Unfortunately, for Mayor Jill, three was truly a crowd.

Everyone's a critic! Stitches assesses Kathy on her decorating tastes. In Kathy's house, she has some theme rooms. This particular one is for plants and flowers. And Stitches lets Kathy know just how much he appreciates her design.

Good as gold! Kathy's upstairs room still includes her computer. Stitches lets her know just how exciting that is.

Appreciate the view! Entry into a park area, on game date of July 22, 2014, includes a gorgeous rainbow much-appreciated by Mayor Jill.
