Pier Fish (Help)

I know this is probably a dumb question to ask, but I'm going nuts over here. I need two more fish, them being the Tuna and Giant Trevally. Is their a trick in getting pier fish to appear? Or is it all luck based cause I used 40 bait and got absolutely nada.

i feel really bad for plugging my own thread, but i have a lil blurb about how i do pier fishing in there. here's the link. using this method ive been able to find tuna quite frequently. there isn't really much else you can do other than bait and pray.

Nah, Northern Hemisphere.

Giant Trevally isn't out in the Northern Hemisphere until May-October.

You do know you can change the date and time on your Switch, right? So I have my Switch set to September. I just used 100 bait at the pier and had no luck of catching the Trevally

You don't have to respond so condescending. You never mentioned at all you were time travelling, so I took an educated guess your game was in March, like many others.

But just keep trying. I've tossed literally 300+ bait in for a golden trout and have yet to catch one. Luck is luck. It either treats you well, or throws you into the mud for far too long.
