yes I do 😁 I mostly do game commentaries, I've actually been recording my own commentaries since 2011-12 and I really enjoy doing it.

I've had endeavors before where I ended up getting burned out, and I'm actually unfortunately susceptible to burnout quite frequently. but I do know that I follow youtubers who have taken breaks and their fans are always understanding and supportive. my goal isn't necessarily to grow this huge youtube channel that demands frequent uploading all year, I just want to have a decent size audience I can interact with and share my stuff with. if I could get my channel to like 10k subscribers someday that would be absolutely incredible.
 
I did meditation for the first time just now. It was for 5 minutes and I struggled quite a bit. My brain really wanted to ruminate by self monologuing like always, but I fought back by focusing on my breath. Despite everything I do feel a bit more relaxed and little less tense in my head. I’ll try more tomorrow.
 
The smell of Lysol reminds me of the smell of being sick. It smells like the cover up of a smell of someone getting sick and then the germs/smell needing to go away so they sprayed Lysol.

QwistoffYTP uploaded today. I was so excited to see his WALL-E YTP. Yes I am a bit old for YTPs but I honestly find them hilarious and for the most part Qwistoff does them tastefully.
 
I feel for people who want to buy authentic copies of Pokémon Platinum during this day and age, I really do.... Trying to find a real copy of the game is extremely unlikely but if you manage to find one get ready to spend your entire paycheck oof 😬 pretty much every classic Pokémon game in general suffers from this insane spike in prices aka scalpers...... I'm really grateful I bought the games when they first came out, for regular retail price.

Also I firmly believe no other Gen or new game going forward will ever capture that perfect feel of nighttime music quite like Gen 4 did.

Yeah, I mean sure, it's an old game and console by today's standards but Nintendo is/was very unwilling to reprint here, which really sucks so yeah unless you like have a friend of a friend who is willing to give a good price it's..scalpers ahoy.

I possibly have an interview at a job place since I need to look at gettin jobs and get my life in order. Wish me luck, I stutter so badly when nervous. I haven't done an interview in 2yrs since my last job.😬
 
So... I think I will at least take a semi-hiatus from the site.. I feel like really out of loop here because I have my special interests and..while it's good to interact with different people for sure I feel this sometimes is a whole other planet that doesn't understand certain earthlings if it makes sense. I mean I don't really play even Splatoon anymore, and even less any AC games, plus my work and other hobbies takes up time when it comes to not having time doing hobbies.. so yeah that's it for now.

Yeah, I get this. I'm on the verge of leaving as well, for pretty much the same reasons. I don't really play AC games anymore. The only thing that's keeping me here rn is talking about My Hero Academia season six that's currently airing... but there's only a few episodes of that left, so once it concludes I may do the same. I will probably log on on July 17th in a couple months just for my 10 year anniversary, but after that I'll only ever log on to check notifs. Lmao. 💀

yeah when I was a kid I really wanted HeartGold and White versions, parents didn't get either of them for me. and here I am 13 years later and I'll either never get to play them or I'll have to wait many years to get a copy bc they're so expensive. it's kinda sad really.

Kind of relate to @/Alienfish and @/Midoriya. I don’t play Animal Crossing much anymore but it’s become normal for me to log on each day. I pick up my phone and check for notifications because it’s basically my social life. I don’t really talk to anyone outside of this forum with an exception of maybe three people. I’d rather my circle be small than have tons of people I can’t trust, so I’m not fussing.

I don’t mind not being able to participate in the actual AC community. This is still a pretty active forum and I honestly see it being that way for a long time. There’s a nice community here and I enjoy the forum events bringing everyone together. I never really used it for AC anyway. It was just a way to interact with people online.

It’s just weird in my mind. While people are texting their in-person friends and I’m on a forum communicating with people of a common interest. From an outside perspective it’s a bit embarrassing. Without this forum, I think I’d lack a social life and drive myself crazy. It’s hard being extroverted but literally having no one to talk to. I’ll even approach random people sometimes and start conversations, but I can’t seem to progress anything, but maybe it’s because I’m talking to people like 7 years younger than me. Maybe I should stick to my age or older, because befriending minors doesn’t exactly work in my favor. I mean no offense whatsoever to minors, but I’ve had too many issues with people younger than me. Those issues don’t exist at all with people my age or older.
 
I can relate. I haven’t played Animal Crossing in years and honestly may not play it again until a new one comes out.

I also don’t have very many friends. No irl friends. I talk to a few people on Discord and i’m part of this Community called Poliwager which is a Pokémon fan site where you can adopt Pokémon. Poliwager is actually the only reason I joined this forum, so I can get views for my Pokémon by putting them in my signature. This forum has been a nice experience tho and kinda glad to be here, and wouldn’t mind making more friends with people who like Pokémon.
