• Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.

Place your random thoughts.

I’ve never played a Pikmin game in my life but I watched the trailer for Pikmin 4 and it looks fun— I want it!

I think my cactus might be immortal. Ive had it almost 4 years and I always forget to water it for months at a time. Once I accidentally left it hidden in a window without water for 8 months.... Still grows towards the light everytime I rotate it.
I'm very jealous of u! Everytime I get a cactus I tend to over-water them and they rot 🫠 so keep doing what ur doing

I can name a few things that are older than Israel.

The television, the radio, Model T cars, and tower rotary dial phones. Those were first introduced in the 1920s. Despite Israel being an ancient kingdom the Bible took place in, the nation of Israel became a nation in 1948.

Also back in the 1920s, there were 48 states in America. All 48 contiguous states had their statehood.

When I get further into game design, pretty much all my future games would be set in the United States or a place based on the US, either in the 20th century or pre-COVID 21st century. Even the ancient ruins.
ah yes the ancient ruins of the United States 😌

Why some sites have those weird ads. The ones that I think are supposed to be on medical side of things.

I really don't like them.

I love our first camp collectible! It's so cute and bright. I wish I didn't have a busy weekend ahead of me, but I'll try to hop on when I can. Weekdays are better for me for tbt events. I hope there isn't too many ACNH involved ones. My system can't take screenshots last I checked. Glitched unless it got patched.
I can't wait to see all the creative things people will make though... And of course more of the collectibles.

Old movies with long opening credits was such a weird time. At least we can fast forward through them today.

Debating whether I should get the new S.S. Dolphin collectible - I'm trying to save my TBT, but I like Pikmin and need more space-themed collectibles for the event. 🤔 I'll have to think about it for now.

Edit: Decided to bite the dust and get it. I really like it!
excellent choice my darling 😌

also noticing that quite a few user titles here can be lined up to write out the lyrics for fly me to the moon hehe

edit: I was trying to remember all the Mario & Luigi games and I FORGOT PARTNERS IN TIME EXISTS LMAOOO

Right now, I’m working on a game. Although I haven’t published it yet (heck, I’m still figuring out how to work the details), here’s what I planned:
  • The goal is to get the ship to the exit gate, but the ship can only pass blue or green light panels that are currently active.
  • If the ship passes a light panel, the panel shuts off.
  • Reach the exit gate? Level complete! Shut down all the light panels and reach the exit gate? Perfect!
  • But if you restart the level or are forced to restart the level, you lose a life.

Nice good luck with that! I did some coding for a tic-tac-toe game and it was insane how much coding something simple like that took.

Believe it or not, this sci-fi puzzle based on Club Penguin’s Thin Ice game is the first time I’m making an actual video game. I’m mostly going to do mobile games or tablet games right now. My goal in life is to make the Winter Island and Glow City video games (which are akin to games like Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64, respectively), but I can’t make these games without a company or experience (or in case of Winter Island, a musical team since it’s a mix of Action-Adventure gaming and Broadway-style musical).
