I don’t know what age is too young to remember VHS or VCR, but I’m thinking that anyone under 25 would have a hard time knowing what that is.

By the way, I found a funny video about how newer generations of children don’t understand VHS.

 
I remember playing Smash Melee as a kid and listening to the sound test ost, and having no idea what the hell Mother 1 and Mother 2 were, when they were just the Japanese titles of Earthbound Beginnings and Earthbound, respectively. I was like, what even is Mother?? lol

I always picked the Onett stage because I loved the songs that would play 🎶💖

I'm 24 and I grew up with a VCR, but I did know some people a year younger than me that didn't even know what a cassette tape is. It probably partly depends on the parents' ages.

Apparently, the Mario Circuit stage from Super Smash Bros. Brawl is actually the Figure 8 Circuit from Mario Kart DS. Henceforth, the name change it received to a proper name in Smash Ultimate.

(Also to not be confused with the one from SSB4 which is based on an actual Mario Circuit from Mario kart 8)

i’ve never realized before but splatoon’s music is SO GOOD. i was full on rocking out to a splatoon 3 music compilation today.
 
Has anyone else started brainstorming gift ideas after reading that Christmas gift post at Brewster’s Cafe?

I’ve found some options for my nephew already. One of my siblings already has a wishlist on Amazon, so I’ll just have to see if she has updated it since last year. The rest of my family will be difficult because they always say idk.
 
i am not ashamed to admit that i put on the baby first channel before i go to sleep just because they don’t do those frightening TV broadcasting test alerts at 3 AM, easiest way to scare the **** out of myself.
 
I’m sad Fernando Botero died, but happy he left behind so much beautiful artwork. I always liked his art— I even did a biography of him for my Art History class. He even has a cute cat sculpture in Barcelona…I might have to see his art in person.

And while we're on the topic of Splatoon's music, I think it sounds like something my OCs would listen to. I think I said this elsewhere, but I'm going to say it again.
 
I thought of a few corrupted wishes scenarios about the changing society, where someone wishes to get rid of something that offends them, only to be replaced with a more recent evil. Like the whole Confederate statues thing. Imagine them being replaced with statues of Donald Trump or today’s far-right figures.
 
“We” is a subjective pronoun
But “Me” is an objective pronoun
 
I love my dogs so much. Coco is so sweet and is a very good puppy, but I can't help but notice even more how my oldest dog just acts like he doesn't feel well. He still wags his tail and is independent, but he is just so tired. He use to be a very active dog and liked to play alot, and he still shows interest and tries and wags his tail, but ends up just laying down after literally two seconds or just sits. He still loves pets though. He was really sluggish last year too but the vet said his heart sounds good. It's just getting more noticable to me seeing Coco who's only 3 months old bounce off the walls all day everyday. My other two seniors aren't as tired as him. One actually plays off and on daily with Coco.
