All thats been on my mind today, Is that my co-worker is dragging me to the new SAW movie 😱 yay. Im so not ready for that

But whats funny is right after were gonna go watch Barbie, so were not super spoked lol. Though Saw isnt so much spooky, and more just a psychological torture movie 🥴not that that's much better.

Please save me from this movie Barbie. Im bringing a blanket to it, I dont care lol.
Omg Barbie was so fun to watch in the theater! A lot people clapped after one monologue, and kids were dancing with the music! I also loved seeing everyone wearing pink.

I'm bringing this one character I made a child back, he is a math teacher who I named......'Mr. Math' lol
Planning to give him a new name and a fresh coat of paint.

So the What’s Bothering You thread has five rules about venting. I do have some hints on what else you shouldn’t do:
  • When it says not to complain about other members, you should also avoid bringing up drama from other threads, including how a thread got locked or from the site events. Even if you don’t complain about a specific person, some of this drama has been started by a single user or two.
  • You may talk about your own suspension, infraction, or your posts being deleted, but if you’re going to complain about that, you should do it respectfully. Insulting the team as a whole or their moderation system would go beyond the boundaries of what’s simply venting.
  • When they say no joke posts, try not to complain about how you’ve been treated by inanimate objects. Sure your stuffed animals or some other inanimate objects can act like spoiled brats, but many people couldn’t take that seriously since they aren’t living things.
  • Although this is more of a legal issue, don’t mention specific names of real people bothering you.

In New Leaf today, I got a spring shirt in the mail from Rooney. Interesting…

I thought this was a Valentine’s Day exclusive item you get from your mom.

What is this now?!?
Also, I think they used AI for the voice.
OH MY GOD I JUST GOT THAT AD LAST NIGHT. what is that. putting the poking fun at depression aside, that's not even a horror game?? there's nothing scary about it, it looks like you just play as squidward and shoot everything into oblivion.

I’ve been listening to old Christmas music the past few days 😂 Why? It’s comforting, I guess, and there’s genuinely some good songs…not like the ones they blast on the radio all December, but the Mantovani orchestra, the Longines Symphonette…the old-school stuff is my favorite. I also like uncommon old Christmas songs, like “Christmas Kisses” by Ray Anthony and the Bookends.

So, I enjoy Halloween, BUT…I don’t do scary, gory Halloween, I like cute, fun, magically “spooky”. I thought of this when I passed a Spirit Halloween and remembered how scared I used to be in there. (as a kid) especially of animatronics that move whenever you walk by, and scary masks! Even in Party City or Target, if they had Halloween masks out I would stare at the floor— until I saw a bloody mask on there. Now I’m not scared, but I prefer not to look at those kind of decorations….

Seeing how COVID rates are much higher in red states than blue states and learning from perspectives that problems with today’s economics started with Ronald Reagan (not to mention, but also how America is behind the rest of the developed world), I have a new question to ask.

Is obedience better than freedom? Is the pursuit of freedom a weakness and the reason why America is far behind? I still refuse to take the path of obedience if that means sacrificing ordinary daily activities or average everyday speech.

I think there should be a balance of obedience and freedom.
Same here. I mean, there’s got to be laws and rules because if we’re all free to do whatever we want, that also means freedom to harm others. That’s why there’s rules. But the question mostly refers to environmental issues, COVID-19 issues, capitalism vs socialism, and free speech vs political correctness.

And yes, the government isn’t the only force that can thwart your freedoms. Others can to. If the government does step in to protect the freedoms others are trying to take away, they’re taking away the freedoms from others. There’s a paradox of freedom and obedience.

Personally, I never viewed masking/getting vaccinated as an issue of freedom vs. obedience, I viewed it as a matter of responsibility/societal duty (for those who were able to do so). I actually strongly value personal freedom for everyone, but living in a society, I believe there's a certain level of moral obligation to look out for your fellow humans when you can too.

I don't know why but I don't seem to go to the movies that often. The last time I went was June, and there was a time when the last time I went was three years ago (and my sister wouldn't let me forget what happened when we went there that time haha 😛). Maybe there's just never movies I want to watch?

When watching some of the Vtubers I follow, sometimes I can't help but worry for them. Like there were times where one of them have fell asleep or nearly asleep while live. Sometimes right after them telling a story about how super busy they were that day; I hope they're not pushing themselves.
I mean, that is a person behind that anime character.

  • Vaccines, I strongly support. Even when I had a valid reason not to get vaccinated (because my history of seizures), I sought the vaccine since the pandemic started. I was so glad that I got one and the booster shot. And I didn’t get a seizure. But if you’re for vaccine freedom, you shouldn’t go as far as banning private vaccination requirements. That’s a step to far.
  • Masks, I don’t like them. But if I have to wear one, I will. Again, state governments shouldn’t ban privately-funded mask mandates.
  • Lockdowns, I absolutely hate. That’s where I would bring up the freedom vs obedience issue.
But the high COVID rates in red states may go deeper than the issue of freedom and obedience. Most people in those states refuse to get vaccinated because they didn’t want to give Biden the credit or wanted to give Trump the credit for ending COVID (which I believe is the ultimate reason why they refuse the vaccine). And that is a stupid reason to not get vaccinated. When there’s a time of a crisis, petty reasons like that are the last reasons to make a serious decision. They can be free to not get vaccinated or not wear masks, but one thing they’re not free from are the consequences. If they want to get themselves sick because of their loyalty to Trump, then it’s their problem. Some people die because they choose to follow their sin instead of making the smart decision of escaping or avoiding danger.

This is a Balloon Boo from New Super Mario Bros. DS. They suck in air when you look at them to grow in size and chase you when you're turned around, expelling air and shrinking while that happens. They really remind me of Kirby since they have blushes on their cheeks and can inflate like when Kirby flies. And the fact that they suck in air. I can't be the only one that sees the similarities, right?

They always say "Its good to talk it out with someone you trust" Guess they were wrong, because its always the same advice you hear time and time again. They always tell you "Stay Positive" but then you suppress your emotions acting like everything is fine when its not really fine.
