Butters’ parents are indeed the worst when it comes to parents. But as regular characters and not parents, Kyle’s parents are worse (even worse than what Randy has become). Gerald’s trolling behavior and Sheila’s Mothers Against Canada made both of them unlikable characters. At least Stephen and Linda Stotch didn’t divide societies as bad as Gerald and Sheila Broflovski did.
I don't know. Sure, Gerald caused a schoolwide gender war but at least no one died. Sheila caused an actual war that did kill people, but at least the effects of it were reversed. Randy caused Covid, which hasn't been reversed and has killed a lot of people in the show, even if he was drunk when it happened. In terms of actual personality Kyle's parents are definitely worse, but I don't know if that can compete with the starting of a pandemic.

Maybe I exaggerated on the Randy part, but it’s clear that the Broflovskis are worse than the Stotches when it comes to actual impact. And Gerald did more than divide all boys and girls at school. He trolled every female on the internet, got a olympic swimmer committing suicide, and even risked the entire world in another world war, all because of his trolling behavior.

People would remember Randy for many things, but the best people would remember Gerald and Sheila for are the Troll Trace subplot and the Mothers Against Canada plot, respectively.

I put my blorbo in a fancy picture frame today. Ugly man. Stinky. Why do I love you so much. Go eat cigarettes stinky.

I need to go to IKEA but should I go two times?
1 time before my friends visit and then go again with them when they come over?

Or should I just go once with them ;-;

Hmmmm... 💫

The idea that only some people go to Heaven and others go to Hell and that some religions are incompatible with Christianity (like Buddhism) may not sit well with a civil rights advocate. Even if a prominent and widely-respected church group believes it’s possible for LGBTQ+ to go to Heaven, the afterlife is already discriminatory towards some people.

However, civil rights/social justice advocates aren’t perfect either. As much as they have a heart for all, there are some issues that they would violate common sense and distort science to fit their narrative. This is where others say “kindness is a weakness”. I once asked, as an argument against universal healthcare, if you’re not going to get paid to operate on a certain patient (which is true because in a single-payer system, they stop paying doctors after working on a certain number of patients), will you still operate on the patient? Even when it’s impractical to perform medicine without pay, these kinds of advocates would still do it.

Yep, I remember when I was staying at the Hampton Inn in Corpus Christi during my vacation. I was trying to watch the amazing world of gumball throughout the night we spent, but I remember waking up to what I believe was Cocomelon. I think “the first day of school” song was playing. O__o

. . .

Different topic, but oh my gosh, why is talk text so crappy and inaccurate?! -.-

AGHHH IM GOING SO CRAZY RIGHT NOW. i found a song last night, on coincidence, that fits one of my OCs to a T. it's PERFECT. it fits his story pretty well, it's the same time-era his story takes place, and it showed up in my youtube mix of all things. AGH. MY OoMFIEs im goign INSANE

Randomly remembered the time a coworker at an old job saying I have the 'attention span of a goldfish'.

No, I just want you to tell me, short, simple & sweet, what I gotta do. I don't have time for chitchat, I got work to do. Give it to me clear cut and let me go do it.

Funny how me wanting to not spend my time chatting and just wanting to be told the short and simple of it gets interpreted by others as me having a short attention span🙃

I'm excited for it to be October because:
1. It means I'm closer to my birthday, and
2. That means the October birthstone should be available for purchase, which I'm excited for. I'll definitely be buying it.

So much time has passed since the 9/11 Attacks happened that a good size of our population, including a handful of members on this forum, born after the terrorist attacks are now reaching adulthood. Showing how much time has passed:
  • Everyone born within the first year after the 9/11 Attacks are at the drinking age in the United States. I was this old when I first joined this site.
  • Those who were born prior to Hurricane Katrina are now old enough to vote or legally watch an NC-17 film in theaters.
  • By the time the next presidential election rolls by, everyone who was alive prior to Saddam Hussein’s capture will be old enough to drink or gamble at public casinos. At the same time, those who were alive when he was still alive will be old enough to vote, and those who were alive when that other guy was still alive (aka Osama bin Laden) will become a teenager.
  • Finally, those who were in school or have graduated from school when 9/11 happened will be past the 30-year mark (or will near it).

I hope to see some older members of TBT return to this site.

Where did they all go? I haven’t heard from them in a while, even during my last year on TBT before my 31-month break from the site. Now if I didn’t list one of the older members’ usernames, one possible reason is because they’re participating in this year’s Camp TBT.

hi Apples! OG member here! I actually had a baby last year and have been super busy with her. She's now 14 months old and a WILD child so that leaves very little time to play games or visit the forums. However, I might jump back into ACNH to finish my museum and get all my dream villagers. Thanks for wondering how I've been doing! All is well and I do pop in and out of the forums sometimes. :D

Yeah, babies are a lot of responsibility. They require near-constant supervision, which does remove time to do other things. But once they get to a certain age, like 5 or 6, you don’t have to supervise them all the time, and all you need to do is feed them, clean after them, and make sure they follow the rules you set (like “homework first”).

But I’m glad to see you come back. There’s a couple of other members from the New Leaf era that I still hope to see return.

It's definitely going to be a while before I get to post in the milestone thread, because I could post at 700 posts, but obviously 1000 posts is a better number for a milestone. Maybe by the end of the year I'll be there?

Well right now you're at 666. You could always make that your milestone I guess.

Too late now, I just made a post. But when I get to 777 I could make that my milestone.

While we're on the topic of post milestones, what exactly constitutes a milestone?
I think if it's 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, or 5000 it's a milestone. Also every 1000 after that until 10,000, where every 10,000 would be a new milestone. But I don't think most people would have to worry about getting to 100,000 posts.
