From the early-mid 1800s, the two parties were the Whigs and the Democrats. Both parties became Republican some time in the future. The Whigs were replaced with the Republicans, but whatever the Democrats were back then is what the 1994 Republicans and the Tea Party are today.
EDIT: I found some inaccuracy in this post. In actuality, the Whigs were the antebellum equivalent of the 1994 Republicans, the same party that turned the GOP into the conservative wing. Additionally, the Confederate states were the “less religious” states during the American Civil War, which is very different to the 21st Century South.
Depending on where you live, finding a job can be near impossible. I researched the job market for my senior project in high school (year 2016, so keep that in mind). I applied to a bunch of entry level jobs in Bakersfield, CA and Fresno, CA. I only got one call back in a three month period. One. Single. Call. Those cities are among the worst for finding jobs, and those who live there are in an unfortunate situation. Additionally, both cities have a high homeless population. I don't believe that is a coincidence.
Apparently the job market is also whack right now where places will 'hire' for new spots, but don't have the funds for the position. So they want you to wait x amount of months until they do. It's just all kinds of screwed up right now.
I’ve been meaning to say this for a few days now but keep forgetting. Pigeons sometimes make a funny squak when flying. It sounds like a raspy angry “Wah!”
There's a fake Simpsons character called Graggle, and it's just supposed to trick people into thinking there's a new Mandela effect. I'm watching through the show and I'm on season three, so I know that he's not real, but there's something about him that seems kind of creepy to me. I think it's that he's not wearing clothes. Anyway, this art actually looks really official.
Fun fact: he actually has his own Wikipedia article. That's where I found this picture.
Why do I always do things last minute? I'm trying to get my items for my entry in this thread for all I know before the deadline. I have a good idea in mind.
