• Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.

Place your random thoughts.

While people are leaving Twitter and moving to places like Threads and TikTok, I would like your opinion on the following social media sites:
  • Gab
  • Parler
  • Gettr
  • Truth Social
You may or may not heard of them, but what do you think?

I want my YouTube friend Daniel to follow his dream, and make a living on YouTube with his Plotagon videos. He graduates this coming Summer. He just wants to leave the nest and make his own money, but goodness! It is so hard getting monetized on YouTube nowadays. You have to follow stricter guidelines, have a certain number of subscribers (which I think he has achieved this bit at least), and you have to have a certain amount of views and amount of time watching a video in the last month. ._.

My hot chocolate tastes like chalk and disappointment.
Chalky disappointment 😔

*I'm talking about an order I made in real life now. lol

Jordan Peterson is smart but I don't always agree w/ what he says. In fact some, some things he says are just downright asinine! I think Dr. Gabor Mate is a MUCH better role model!

Yesterday, I was watching a video about a TikToker that lied about being kicked out of his house by his mom so he could get money. Anyway, his mom ended up finding out, but the main reason this is important to my research is that I noticed that everyone in the video had a Southern accent, so I assumed that they were from the South. But the thing is, the person in this video (the one scamming people) talked exactly like people in my school. He used the exact slang words that I still don't know the meanings of. And then it all made sense. The reason I talk like a normal person, but half of the people at school don't is because they're addicted to TikTok. If that's true, which I feel like it is, that would explain so much. But that would mean that the reason they do that is because they just completely let TikTok shape their vocabulary. So I hope it's not true, because that would be depressing even if it seems like the most logical explanation.

It's easier for people from like Europe to imitate an American accent better than an American can imitate a British accent because a lot of them grew up watching American movies/shows. How many British shows/movies can you say you've watched? It probably holds some truth.

I feel like they are American because everyone involved had a southern accent. I don't see why they would purposefully disguise everyone's voice in a different accent, especially considering people who weren't in the original video but were still involved had the same accent. But you are right about the last part. I can't name that much British media that I've seen.

I'm intentionally keeping my lineup like this just because I like all of the items I have here. I'll probably go back to displaying just birthstones soon.

I was playing Super Mario Maker 2 and I was literally right at the goal, but no, we ran out of time. If I had like five more frames I could have done it. That's when I decided I had enough of the game for a day.

Skin care products have advanced since I last took notice. I don't know what are hyaluronic cream, niacinamide dew drops, or salicylic serum. I'm kind of afraid to use them, or at least save it for a weekend routine.

If you have some TBT or collectibles to giveaway, maybe you can host a giveaway where others can suggest a good name for your OCs. The user who suggests the best name for your OC gets the prize, while you accept the name.
