I’m considering jumping ship from an iPhone to Samsung Galaxy. Using certain Apple features frustrate me to no end (Siri being a big example), the UI is restrictive and ugly at times, and some of the stuff Android OS’s have been offering is way ahead of the competition. However, I’ve been heavily committed to iPhones since 2012, and switching now would throw a bunch of things off. I’m not entirely sure if I’d want to make such a major change if I’m eligible to upgrade my current phone.

Bubsy definitely has the ugliest character design of all known video game mascots. But there were failed and obscure game mascots with worse character designs than Bubsy. Felt like drawing redesigns of failed game mascots but you know.

I had to look up Bubsy because I couldn't remember what he looks like.. idk, I think he's cute in a very 90s cartoon type of way! There's gotta be way worse video game mascot designs... like Noid from Yo! Noid is pretty bad but maybe it's so bad its good

I saw some ugly looking Oscar games on the old Dsi e-shop.

It’s better to use eco-friendly alternatives in stuff like transportation and sanitation, but if you’re living in the countryside in the United States, that wouldn’t be practical. With so few to do in the country or small towns, and more space between places, it’s outright impossible to go carbon-zero.

The most broken Kirby Copy Abilities:

- Tornado: not that overpowered in earlier games or Kirby and the Forgotten Land. In Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, though… it very much is. You can absolutely shred through The (True) Arena in this game with this
- Stone: it’s broken, but impractical. Since using Stone’s main attack makes you impervious to almost all attacks while dealing damage when it lands, you can hypothetically use Stone to plow through The (True) Arena in a lot of games, too. It’s like Tornado, but not being able to move means you’ll probably take at least 3x as long. But if you don’t care about getting a record time in Arenas, then this is the ability for you
- Archer: pressing down on the D pad or circle pad makes you invincible to almost everything (you might have noticed a recurring theme by now). But you can still attack while invincible. So it’s like Stone. You could defeat bosses with almost 0 effort, but you’ll waste a lot of time
- Hammer: unlike the others, it can’t give you complete invincibility, but its attacks, especially Hammer Flip, can do extreme damage
- Leaf: probably my favorite one. Its attacks are fairly weak but its guard makes you, you guessed it, completely invincible
- Spark/Plasma: with Plasma in all appearances, and Spark starting in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, you can deal damage by moving the D/circle pad to charge up, which gives you an electric shield, and then launch that shield. The shield deals damage, and it can do a lot of damage when blasted at an enemy. This would be especially useful in a TAS because you can put in way more inputs than anyone would normally be able to do, meaning you could charge it up completely in a few frames. That would probably make this one of the best abilities to use to defeat bosses

And that’s all I can think of on the spot. This ended up being way longer than I expected.

I'm gonna start cracking down on losing weight. I don't want to be a middle-aged man w/ a ton of health problems!

The one thing I canNOT stand, in almost ANY media, is romance! It's just so damn unrelatable! Give me sci-fi and fantasy epics ANY DAY over love stories!!

It’s always done so badly. 😩 most of the time the romance subplot adds absolutely nothing. It’s like “ok here’s this well thought-out story, interesting characters, and immersive world… oh and also the main character is in love with this person they met 5 seconds ago for some reason and they will predictably end up together by the end.”
