I guess someone doesn’t support AVALANCHE.

I think my nicotine tolerance might be just a tad too high. I seriously need to cut back.

I’m only just realizing how many annoying enemies Sonic 2 has. To list, there’s:

- Asterons, annoying off brand Staryus that shoot their spikes at you while self destructing. The issue is that they’re always hidden in walls and places where they can’t be killed, and you only see them when it’s too late, and you’re probably already going to be hit. That’s part of what makes Metropolis Zone so annoying, along with…
- Slicers, Scyther-looking robots that throw their silver claws at you. And just like Asterons, they’re hidden at the top of places where you won’t see them until it’s too late, and you’ll not only lose all your rings but also get knocked back to the bottom and not be able to get most of them
- Shellcrackers are yet another rage inducing enemy, as they’re, just like most of Metropolis Zone’s enemies, hidden out of screen right until it’s too late, where they’ll stick their fist out to punch you. They’re somehow the most tolerable enemy in this zone
- Whisps (not Wisps, like from Sonic Colors) are like mosquitoes and they’re the least annoying enemy on the list, but they still make Aquatic Ruins a little harder
- and Coconuts, who are monkeys climbing trees and throwing their coconuts at you. They appear in Emerald Hill Zone, the first zone, but they’re still obnoxious

I actually do like Sonic 2, but I hate some of the unfair parts like those pits in Mystic Cave Zone that last forever and kill you. This game is probably one of the best 2D Sonic games. It’s definitely better than Sonic 1, which somehow has even worse enemies and mechanics.

That iphone commercial with all the singing photos creeps me out so much. It’s like they’re stuck in a digital purgatory and are begging for their lives in their creepy autotuned voices. I already struggle with hoarding images, so thanks for that.

Steven Universe ⭐ started off really great imo, then dumb things happened, and sadly its own creator and the writers messed it up.

I don’t understand people saying that kids don’t play outside anymore. They might do it less, depending where you live, but my neighbor’s kids are always jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, writing with chalk, etc. Plus on nice days the local playground is busy. Yes, there are (unfortunately) iPad kids, but…it’s not that simple.

I watched 22 Short Films About Springfield yesterday. In other words, that’s the episode that this comes from. That probably was the best part of the episode, I love the sitcom theme song. I also think there’s this certain feeling when you watch something like this, like something that has been super memed or a movie (scene) that’s been parodied to death. It feels weird to rewatch it but it’s completely normal, without twists.

My favorite scenes were the steamed hams scene and the Nelson scene.

I started to continue playing Mario and Luigi Dream Team recently to finish my main file and start Hard Mode on a new file even though I know it will be painful. Anyway, the boss I just fought was Dreamy Bowser, who is the last giant boss. In Mario and Luigi games, giant bosses aren’t affected by your level, so you can’t just grind to make the fight easier. You have to actually learn bosses’ attacks. I died a lot, and the most painful part was knowing that messing up once would mean that you’re going back to the beginning of the fight. And this fight is just difficult in general. It was very satisfying to actually defeat it. There’s only two bosses left in the game so tomorrow I’m going to finish them off and start Hard Mode. I’m sure it’s going to be really fun. ^_^

I don't need another Fortnite skin, I don't need another Fortnite skin, I don't need another Fortnite skin. 😶

I added Hakuna Matata from Lion King to a Spotify playlist.

...and I wasn't aware when watching the movie, but there's a lot of chatter in between the singing.

No. Just no. I have no idea what’s wrong with this app but those calculations are just waaaay off.

Ugh, the cloud cover forecast got worse for tomorrow... Oh well, at this point there is nothing I can do about it anymore other than just hope the sky stays clear enough to be able to see the eclipse during totality, not just for my sake but for all the people that traveled out here hoping to see it too!

Some other short films from that episode that I liked:

- the ending with Nelson
- the part with Professor Frink, even if he didn’t even actually get to start it
- there’s this character from the show named Herman, who first appeared in a season one episode, and then appeared in a few more but was put on a bus to nowhere… until now. I’m kind of surprised that they even remembered he existed, because I definitely didn’t
