I just realized that TBTWC is a little over one month away. I'm excited, primarily because I can participate in more than just team cheers this time.

Would you be interested into being on my team again? I’m gonna get Mario Kart popped in when the time comes.

I wouldn’t be opposed to being part of any team. Mario Kart is the one game I’ll definitely be participating for. Mario Party Superstars is a maybe if that’s included in the sessions.

Pokémon moves and Abilities that are useless in the main games but highly effective and scary in the Mystery Dungeon spin-offs:
  • Bug Bite and Pluck - this lets the foe eat your precious food items such as Reviver Seeds and Oran Berries.
  • Lightning Rod - makes your Discharge attack worthless during a Monster House.
  • Agility - boosts your party's travel speed. Very busted during boss battles. But if a foe uses it in a Monster House, you're screwed.
  • Teleport - free warp out of a tight jam, specifically Monster Houses.
  • Smokescreen - honorable mention because the Whiffer status used to be extremely broken. Essentially, all attacks would miss.

Bug Bite and Pluck are so bad that I still think about PMD when I see them in the main games, lol.

I've never liked insults towards medication. Sometimes I see social media posts bragging about not needing to use it. Or the condescending phrase "Did you forget your medication"?

Nobody should ever feel uncomfortable or stigmatized about seeking help.

My prescription has kept me out of the hospital.

I finally could tell that the anti-depressant i take (take when needed) helps when i took it. I just don’t like that it makes me sleepy every time since some times i need it during the day and not bed time.

actually disappointed about keanu reeves being casted to voice shadow in the sonic 3 movie. i feel like hayden christensen, another fan top pick, would have been a better choice IMO.

I feel like a baby for tearing up at this, but hear me out. I saw a commercial for a dog medicine that treats osteoarthritis. The commercial starts out with the dog’s toys— a monkey, an elephant, and lion squeaky toy. The monkey asks sadly, “Why won’t Scout play with us anymore?” The elephant explains the dog has osteoarthritis, which makes him hurt “all the time.”
The dog gets the medicine and starts feeling better, so he plays with his toys again. The monkey proclaims, “This is the best day of my life!”
I don’t know why it made me cry. Maybe it was the toys and how they were sad, or the fact that the dog was older but still played like a baby. Either way…I…know commercials intend to pull at your heartstrings. It wasn’t that dramatic, but it made me feel sad, even with the happy ending.

I’ve seen that commercial, too… you definitely aren’t a baby for tearing up at it. I’m a big baby when it comes to animals being sad, hurt, sick etc, real animal or not, and that commercial tugs at my heart every time I see it, too. There’s just something about the way the dog was described as “hurting all the time” and how happy the toys were when they were played with again that’s so !!! 🥲 animals deserve the world

I was at a friend's house yesterday, the young daughter of a mom there asked me if I wanted to play hide-and-seek with her. I said, "no thank you", and she just growled at me, and walked off. 😂
She's not usually like this, she just has a rather hyperactive imagination.

...Kids say the darnedest things. 😆

I was just thinking of a lyric that goes “People were born to Indonesian single moms in 1957” and wondering how many of those specific people there were. Then I got a random whatsapp message from Indonesia XD I’m deleting it ofc, but i do think it’s quite funny
