In Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, there are some minions that belong to Bowser that were changed by Fawful to resemble him. So, a normal Shy Guy or an average Monty Mole would now be changed to this:

Nothing is safe. It’s not just Bowser enemies. If you’re in Blubble Lake, you might expect to find crocodiles, but not a crocodile that looks like this:

Anyway, I was posting this to ask if this reminds anyone of something. Completely innocuous things are turned horrifying by just adding a different face onto them. Anyone noticing any similarities between this game and something on this site? Here’s a hint: it’s annual. Here’s another hint:

In honor of both online services AND Nintendo e-Shop for the 3DS and Wii U being closed permanently, I want to show off some of my favorite Nintendo 3DS themes that I was never able to obtain, while the e-Shop was still open...they will always live forever in my heart! ❤️

I found some more information about the Hello Kitty theme below, called Candyfloss.

I practically live for, and inhale all of the best and cutest ones ever! > : D

Also, I've seen some 3DS themes related to one of my favorite shows, called The Amazing World of Gumball, but I genuinely can't tell if they're real, or fake... 😭

We never got the Venoct Yo-kai Watch theme in the states. I don't recall seeing any of these. It could be regional.

There were some Disney themes, I have an Ariel, but the Gumball one sounds fake.

 
I found a pair of knitting needles at the thrift store the other day and I've been enjoying playing around with them!! Normally I only see straight needles at the thrift store (in bags filled with dozens of them... it's overwhelming) but I found a pair of chiagoo circular ones!! 🥰
 
My girlfriend bought Baldur's Gate 3 this morning and hasn't left the study in 7hrs except to forage for food and hugs.

I wonder how many weeks/months it'll be until I get my partner back. 🤔

But those are trophy collectibles. You earned them, you deserved them.

Anyways, I don’t mind giving away collectibles in my giveaway threads, but one type of collectible I would never give away for free are glow wands. I may have given a flower wand years ago, but times have changed.

What does your 3DS look like?

I have a blue 2DS. Kind of boring, but it was cheap.

Here's some that I own. The Japanese 3ds theme shop was so much better.
 
I realized that in long running Nintendo series, it’s only the main character that appears in all of their main line game. That might sound obvious, but there’s a lot of characters that you’d expect to appear in all of their games that don’t.

Like Mario. Mario is the only one who appears in every game. Peach, Luigi, and Bowser don’t appear in Super Mario Land 1 or 2, and Bowser’s not in Super Mario Bros. 2. Goombas don’t appear in Super Mario World, and Koopas aren’t in Super Mario Bros. 2 (only Koopa shells are) and Super Mario Sunshine (only a related variant appear).Those are just the main ones. Bullet Bills are actually really close to having perfect attendance, but they’re not in Super Mario Bros. 2 or Super Mario Land (but there’s a related species called Bullet Biffs). Super Mario Bros. 2 and the Super Mario Land games are usually the reasons a lot of enemies end up having absences.

Another one I thought of was Zelda. Its namesake doesn’t appear in Link’s Awakening, and technically she doesn’t appear in Majora’s Mask. If Ganon and Ganondorf are counted as the same character, which they technically are, then he still doesn’t qualify, either. The only enemy that appears in every game to some capacity are the Stals, which are technically a species, but I’m counting them. Keese (the bat enemies) aren’t in Zelda II (even if you try to forget it happened, it’s still a main series Zelda game), and Octoroks aren’t in Twilight Princess. Besides that, I’m pretty sure it’s just Link that appears in every game.
 
I couldn't sleep last night, so I decided to do some singing and recorded it as well. And I hate to say it, but me messing up and cursing sounded better than the actual songs I was trying to sing. 🥲 To be fair, it was 3 in the morning and I didn't wanna wake/keep anyone up. And some stuff I sang actually sounded decent (especially the second half of Chop Suey!, I actually got some of the tones and notes right??).

I wasn't really big into singing for the longest time, so I guess that's why I sound very a little rusty. Better keep practicing, I suppose.
 
I know internet disconnects happen since I’ve gotten a couple but, I can’t help but think a lot of the ones I see are rage quits since some happen when I or someone else splat someone early in the game
 
I love Kieran so much that if they sold stuffed toys of him I'd get it right away! I already have a plush PaRappa from when I was into him so why not get something Kieran-related?
