It turns out that “best friends” and “true friends” are two different things.
  • True friends are the friends that really care about you. Those are the ones who will get along with you very well, regardless of differences. These kinds of friendships are very healthy, and you can’t lose these friends easily unless if you did something very, very bad.
  • Best friends are the friends that are just friendlier to you or are friends that you admire the most.
Best friends can be true friends, and true friends can be best friends. But it’s possible that best friends aren’t true friends and vice versa.

fallen deep into fanfic hell again and i am not getting out easily 😭

just finished a 30k-word fic yesterday (well i just reread my favorite fic) and it hits so hard on rereading because of how genius the writing is. there are so many things you take for granted in the first read that the second read becomes another experience in itself. like the summary snippet with "you never liked me", response: "truly, nothing escapes you, which may actually be the singular thing I like about you." sounds like a shallow jab, but on reread I realize that it is the one thing he really likes about her, genuinely, and it just isnt emphasized enough in earlier chapters that it's easy to dismiss the statement as something negative. like he cannot escape her no matter how much he runs, he's loved her always and she to him. god i will never get over how much i love the writing and i hope time will pass long enough that i'll be able to reread it again because it is such a thrilling experience

I'm giving my poor pincushion over here some nice acupuncture 😂

animal crossing wild world is so glitchy and devoid of content however charming that to muster the wherewithal for me to play it as a mini side hobby i probably need to be fully entrenched in something hellish like grad school so that just watering flowers and talking to actually witty villagers for like 15 minutes a day is like a reward

It’s hard to understand something you’ve been personally affected by, especially in a negative way.

Also, wondering if I should go to my high school reunion. I was bullied a lot because of my teeth, but now that they are fixed I want to see their reactions. I also want to see how people that were *******s in their teens turned out.

Spoiler, Rambling.
I watched a video in my YouTube news feed that popped up. Sometimes I'll watch something out of curiosity because the title sounded interesting. It was this guy just kinda talking about his thoughts on the world today. Nothing serious or super conspiracy theory-ish. Just his casual thoughts. Maybe something that people would write in a diary if that was something people still did. He said something that kinda made me go hmm honestly. I think the last time I heard something along the lines of what he said was back in elementary school while reading a history book.
He said that he thinks the powerful is punishing the common man to keep them from bucking and because they know too much (things like Epstein was an example he gave).

Basically (my interpretation of what he suggested) powerful people beyond your territory or lot punishing the common man by making life as hard as possible. You know, requiring a terrible tax, causing things to be way more expensive for no reason at all besides to just cause suffering, making food scarce to not just cause suffering but to decrease numbers and cause physical weakness, increase labor requirements. The goal is to keep them miserable and tired and to put them in their place because the powerful "give you a good life or can give you a miserable life" ( quotes because I don't believe it is true ).
Maybe to even keep them in their class or to greatly reduce the number in a class.

The food situation (eggs and poultry) is a complex one due to illness. There are actual reasons usually impo for food missing on the shelves, but I feel like I can't always say the same for price tags. Sure, oil plays a role in cost of products, but sometimes a company will up the price because of many others upping theirs for a real reason unrelated. Kinda like, ok we can up the price now because "we are all doing it" and kickback is unlikely or less than it normally would be from consumers.

Of course he didn't say all of that, the my interpretation of what he suggested. And the my interpretation of what he suggested isn't what I necessarily think.
It just all reminded me of a history book of times of serfs and lords, kings and lords and conquest. This time there are a lot of laws around against keeping birds though.. and I don't think artwork of golden eggs are too far fetched or fairytail-ish anymore. And I don't believe the gold color of the golden egg is just reflecting a price tag, but a value beyond the price tag. And people today, I feel anyway, think about eggs a lot more often and are more conscious of when they need eggs, eat eggs, and how often than 10 years ago.

I was actually disappointed when I learned 'The Birds and the Bees' was figurative and there was no real story. I thought this was some cool secret piece of literature that I was going to be let in on.

Woolly pigs are some of the cutest animals on the planet and I need like 108 of them.

When I was little, I had two pitbulls: a female pitbull named Precious and a male pitbull named Shaka. I used to spell their names as "P-S-S" and "S-H-O-C-K-A" because I didn't know how to spell their names at the time. Sadly, they both died a long time ago from natural causes. May both of my pitbulls R.I.P.

i just had a thought....

lightworks has changed me so much... as in having less videos to work with... example: my having just 3 slayers videos in my desktop slayers folder after finishing each video....

if i had used lightworks instead at the time period i was using windows movie maker, i'd have less clutter in my memory stick folders : O

it's amazing how reliable it is! : O

I remember recently I was at an eagle event where they were showing different kinds of eagles. (Harpy eagles, etc.) There was this old guy who answered his phone and said loudly, "I'm at a bird show!" Was it disruptive? Yes, but funny in retrospect.

Apparently even sixth graders are getting in trouble for vaping. I didn’t know it was possible to be that astronomically down bad. Like aren’t you supposed to be using coloring books? 💀
It's crazy how there's kids as young as 11 years old, if not younger, vaping. Like, how the hell are they even getting these vapes? 💀

I remember my little sister telling me about this one time back in middle school, she saw a girl 2 grade levels below her (6th grade) vaping in the girl's bathroom. As far as I know, I don't think the girl got in trouble. I guess kids can be very slick when it comes to vaping.

So @xSuperMario64x and I started a new server a few days ago. One thing I thought of is that all off-server activity won’t count against you. Even if it’s your only mutual server with someone else and you send them a nasty DM, you’ll only get in trouble with the server if you break the rules on the server. While rule violations on the server won’t count against you anywhere else. I want to keep it fair for everyone.

Probably fake anyway.

Thinking about reanimating a series that I procrastinated on. Since my college days, I felt my narrative and animating skills were better than when I started the series.
