I had quite an exciting day today that really brought my neighbors together.

There was a standoff between the police and an armed gunman right outside my house. It lasted a couple of hours, until swat arrived. Flashbangs and tear gas ended it. I may be weird, but it was kind of fun!

Nostalgia. Music is the number 1 trigger for it. Hearing songs irl and in my head bring back memories and feelings that bring tears of joy to my eyes. I suffer from a severe case of nostalgia. Even though I'm not even 30 yet. It's complicated. I wish I could go back in time to relive the moments that bring nostalgia, but I can't. I'M SAD I CAN'T CURE MY NOSTALGIA. :(

On a side note, isn't the intro to the Soundgarden song Searching With My Good Eye Closed weird? It's like an education lesson for little kids. One sec, let me think of how it goes.
 
I wish I could play with everyone in the Mario Kart 8 friendlies, but I had to sell my Switch Lite last year. :(

I've done some digging and found the website for this thing, on my old computer with a fresh account. Because no way I'm using my new one for this.
Can't post the link here. You can only download this thing through their site (or ad) and not the Chrome store and if you try to contact them, it sends you to a dead link but it may just be my old Chromebook since I can't update an old Chromebook from 2013.

seeing pokemon card collectors giving away cards and packs to kids really warms my heart :) it's been rough out there with scalpers purposely driving up the prices of pokemon cards these days and i wish more people could appreciate the hobby of collecting and/or playing rather than making a pretty penny. had my fair share of experience w scalpers from other things (esp tickets, lmao), never bought from them & i will never ever understand why they would do such a thing. : (
