The YouTube search function feels worse.

Like, there's too much focus on trying to recommend me videos and shorts rather than giving me what I'm actually looking for.
Yeah, I noticed this a while ago. You'd think they know how to make a proper search engine because it's owned by Google, but the Google search engine is getting worse too.
I don't need my unrelated recommendations popping up in my YouTube searches and I don't need AI generated results thrown in my face when using Google.

I think I might adopt a LGBTQ+ preteen or teenager once I live on my own and I’m financially stable. I was raised in an LGBT household and I’m nonbinary myself, so I think I could do a good job. I’d adopt an older kid because 1. I wouldn’t have to potty train them and 2. Older kids and teens are less likely to be adopted. I think doing this could be really fulfilling.

“Be careful if I were you. She's the silent but deadly type. She seems all sunshine and rainbows while you're looking at her. But once back turned she's ready to spit the venom.”

Why did I write this. 😭

Context: This was a line that was in a story I've written. Thanks. I guess

I listened to a video giving a bad review of “The Midnight Library”, and honestly I’d have dipped out when I heard the main character’s name was Nora Seed, and others were named Ash and Mrs. Elm…. The “root life” was icing on the cake.
(Sorry if you liked it, though.)

"tell your readers/viewers about the story without explaining it to them outright"

this person: "...nah, Nora Seed, Ash, Mrs. Elm"

Ever since I got my Steam Deck I haven't touched my Switch and honestly the Switch 2 doesn't make me excited either. I dunno if the next exclusive AC or Pokémon is enough to make me want to buy a whole new console, the Steam Deck is everything I need. 🫤
Exactly! I did the same thing. I was playing a game on switch that was horribly optimized for the system and just played so terribly that it pushed me to by a Steam Deck. I didn’t think at first I would like it because it is so much bigger for my small hands to hold. But once I got used to it I haven’t turned back. I really have no reason to use my switch now except for when I want to play ACNH or Pikman and occasionally a few other first party games. The ONLY game that will make me consider getting another Switch is when and if a new Animal Crossing comes out. Even then with the cost projections on the system and ridiculous prices of the games, I doubt very, very much that I’m gonna buy. It doesn’t make good sense to spend that kind of money so I can play 1 or 2 games when there are thousands on Steam. But I will miss my fave Nintendo games.

I read this book because I fell for the trap that it had some awards on the cover. Can confirm it was bad (n) (or at least I didn't like it)

One of these things is not like the others.

The sound it makes when you use an ice cream react on a post is funny but it’s kind of annoying how it pauses whatever you’re watching/listening to. I’m only just watching the Nintendo Direct and it’s kind of hard to when it’s constantly being interrupted when I react to a post lol.

I usually listen to death metal to help me sleep since the drum fills are soothing to me... Though last night, I didn't expect to wake up at 2 in the morning and get startled because some demonic-sounding death metal song is playing right beside me. 😭
