Not to start a religious flame war here or anything but I search up "What's it like..." and the first thing that pops up at the top of my recommended searches is "What's it like to be in heaven" like wow, the internet is definitely going to have an answer to that one! /sarcasm

lmao the 2nd option is 'to work at Walmart' 😅

Contrary to the one I posted I bet, heh. Excuse my ignorance, but aren't they being boycotted right now?
I feel like they're always being boycotted or in trouble for something. I read how every year they get in trouble for employee mistreatment. Ex; forcing workers to work on their breaks but clock in and out. They go to court, get a measly fine/slap on the wrist, and do it all over again.

I haven't stepped in one of their stores in ages. And I'll keep it that way. That company can collapse with how sleazy they are.

Jewels bullied Spanky off her spot again today 😭. I wish she’d stop that and just laid next her instead of right on top of her. It looked like she was going to do that; spanky wrapped her arms around her and started grooming her for a few seconds maybe not even then but then they were whacking each other 😅. Spanky again left even though she was lying there first before Jewels rudely tried lying on her 😭. They really do act like blood related sisters 😅.

I really want to try working on a drawing some more but I’m feeling the effects from going from not drawing at all to drawing all day yesterday 😅. I feel a bit better after taking a nap though

For a while I’ve had the idea that when the egg decorating event came, I should make an egg that was Dr. I’ve come to make an announcement

but I was never planning on actually making one, I just had the thought. Mainly because 1) lazy, 2) unskilled, 3) relevant to this year’s version, I don’t have any art softwares. Because of that I probably still won’t but it would be a really funny idea.

Try it out! It sounds hilarious!

I want to go back to listening to music on my phone again because it's been too long, but I feel like I should clean up my song collection first. I feel like I put some songs there that I probably wouldn't want to listen to again in retrospective. Not that I hate them or anything...I guess they just don't click with me nowadays.

Why do so many Americans republicans consider the US the best country when it’s not?
I couldn't tell you. I remember when I was in middle school, and we would disagree with the teachers on this and we would provide a couple of examples contrasting US with a couple of other nations and they would get irate about it. This was before Obama's time. And I don't know what their political choices were. But I remember being that way was "very American" and I am not confident it was a Republican thing back then. I do remember Democrat people being that way too, I just don't know what the teachers were.
Of course there are good things.. but that doesn't mean we are better or worse than other countries. You have to look at the general quality of life of the average joe in each nation to attempt to determine that. And to be fair, travel is required because of censorship and propaganda that has been around for eons. Governments compete against each other after all.
Either way, looking back I'm proud that we were questioning it and actually thinking about stuff like that for the ages we were.

Even if preorders for the Switch 2 are still available, I ended up putting my money on having my bike repaired instead and I'm honestly more excited about that. I can't wait to ride it good as new, especially when it warms back up again.

can't help but feel like I would love to have someone draw Baffuinie7 (the mii in my avatar) hehehee

would like to add that I went to Walmart today to grab a few things (namely things I need that I'm unable to find at other stores) and I needed a motor scooter cart, since I literally had surgery a little over a week ago. they had like SEVEN motor carts sitting by the door with bags covering their handles, and the greeter told me they were all dead! as in, broken down. how can such a hugely profitable corporation like Walmart not spend a shred of its financial resources to have them fixed? they also don't have any small carts (I struggle to push larger carts, and I probably shouldn't be pushing any carts anyway), all the guy could recommend to me was a hand basket. I did my best carrying stuff in my reusable bag, but it soon got to a point where I was feeling soreness and swelling around my incisions. I couldn't even get everything I needed before I had to leave. thankfully the next store I went to, Kroger, did have a motor cart available for use. they also have small carts, which I prefer over large carts even when I am more physically able because large carts are clunky and oversized.

I'm only temporarily disabled while recovering from surgery, but I couldn't help but think about the people who are permanently disabled and have to hope and pray that a motor cart is available for them to use when they arrive. it's inexcusable that Walmart won't provide resources to enhance accessibility like this, and that they aren't more diligent about fixing their broken down motor carts.

aside from that, yes, Walmart is currently being boycotted because, like Target, the company has decided to comply with federal regulation and end their DEI programs. I felt gross just walking in there honestly. I think from now on I'll stick with Kroger (who, as far as I'm aware, is maintaining their DEI programs) for my grocery shopping, and look for more niche stuff elsewhere.

One time I was in history class and my teacher was discussing options for women in Renaissance Europe. We were talking about marriage for rich women vs. poor women, when he asked, “Beaides marriage, what other options did women have?”
It got really quiet. Usually I didn’t answer questions in class but I felt like joking around and said, “Become a nun?!” And he said, “Yes! Due to the Counter-Reformation was a dramatic increase in women joining convents.” To this day, I can’t believe my luck. 😭

This reminded me of an assignment we had back in school. For history (and this was for, like sixth grade, where we should’ve still be learning), every student had to choose to color a picture of an elephant or a donkey. The teacher justified it as an innocent coloring task, but he said to choose whichever one we agreed with.

I have no recollection of which one I chose, and I’m sure most of the students who chose a side have different political beliefs now. It seemed like the teacher was trying to make us choose a side early, especially since he was pushing for one over the other when students didn’t know which one they wanted.

I remember coming home that day and telling my dad all about it. Needless to say, he was upset. This is something that shouldn’t be pushed on younger students in school that are still learning, and it felt like the teacher was trying to push his views on the student.
