Does anyone know how the random daily fortune cookies are determined? I ask because ever since the app launched, one of the two daily fortune cookies available in the shop has been a special fortune cookie (one that typically costs leaf tokens) about 50% of the time, and the other 50% of the time, there were just two generic Timmy/Tommy cookies. There wasn't a specific pattern, but it was very common to find one of the more valuable cookies available. This was true, as far as I can recall, even before the paid Complete app became available.

All of a sudden they have just stopped appearing for me. I haven't had a single special fortune cookie available for bells in the shop during the month of March. Could certainly just be random, but I don't think I EVER went more than maybe three days without one and now it's been weeks? Have I just been cursed?

I have no idea if there is a set pattern. I feel like I get at least one every few days. There has been times that I get some in consecutive days.

I think it is random. I feel you though. I know I felt like that sometimes.

If you want, starting next month, I can try to keep track what days I get featured cookies to appear for bells and days I don’t. Maybe you could start a thread so we all can share our findings and determine if there is a pattern or if it is just random?

that's incredibly lucky! i've gone MONTHS without getting a special fortune cookie before complete . after complete i've only gotten 3 but it doesn't bother me as leaf tokens are easy to get. it is completely random though! the RNG gods were in your favor!

I think it is just random. I have been pretty lucky since I usually get a special cookie once a week. I could track mine as well if you want. I got one today . It was the Dotty’s tea- party cookie.

Very interesting that the fortune cookie stats are so random! Mine were consistent enough that I assumed the app was programmed to give you one every few days. I did get my first special cookie for bells yesterday after about 3-4 weeks. But now I feel bad knowing some of you were having that kind of bad luck regularly!

I usually get a special cookie every few days! Although ironically I’d actually prefer to have the Timmy or Tommy cookies as they’re the items I’m missing. Wish you could buy them in bulk lol!

I will have to look you and see what items you can get from the Timmy and Tommy cookies. I have some in my inventory that I still need to open . I usually get the same few items and just sell them.
