That actually isn’t entirely true. If you linked the games before PC went offline, the items are still available to buy in NH. I discovered this today. It’s not like how the Mario items became unobtainable for a few months before the one major update added them back into the special items category where the Sanrio items can be purchased.Pocket Camp never really interested me aside from whenever I saw something cool that was added that I, as a mainline only player, could only look at with awe and envy. No matter how neat the stuff was, I didn't want to pay for any of the items or in-game currencies or whatever else.
After it was brought to my attention that the Pocket Camp crossover items would no longer be available in New Horizons, I downloaded the app on Tuesday and linked it to my Nintendo Account so I could have access to those crossover items.
You guys, I forgot this game had loans. Hadn’t played in years, started playing again before the transition to Complete, and now I’ve been playing Complete and enjoying it a lot more. So today I was poking around in the menu and went “Loan? What’s this?”
I had a 50,000 bell loan.
I have 2,429,000 bells.
Is it fair to say that interior design has never been a huge priority for me in AC games?
Yes, I’m aware the series has always had loans! I didn’t mean I’ve never paid off a home loan in any Animal Crossing game, haha. I was just saying I forgot that Pocket Camp had loan/expansion features because I honestly don’t go in my camper or cabin much at all. I think of the campsite as the main area, and it’s the only one I care to regularly redecorate because it’s the only one that gets used.Nah it’s been a part since GameCube you’d get letters in the mail telling you how to decorate your house or how it was looking like a warehouse if you had to much stuff around.

Oh, yes, I see—I was saying “is it fair to say that interior design has never been a huge priority for me in AC games,” like specifically that it’s clear I’m always focusing on other gameplay elements and neglecting interior design a bit. So much so that I apparently forgot features of the app! I understand it’s always been a gameplay element and that most players probably spend more time on their homes than I do.I’m not talking about loans I’m talking about interior design has always been something in the game to focus on since day one

That’s been true for me throughout the series. I always spent a lot of time designing my town, talking to villagers, growing flowers, fishing, completing the museum, and so on, but I tended not to obsess over my own house to the same degree. I can’t actually DO anything in my house except look at it, so it always falls by the wayside. Exterior decorating, by contrast, is actually used and enjoyed by the other town residents and is visible to me while I deliver presents and buy hats and catch bugs, so it gets 95% of my attention.
It took me forever before I realized you could actually decorate the inside of the camper. For some reason it never occurred to me to try and go inside the camper. I went in it by accident and that’s when I realized it. It wasn’t until recently that I figured out you can decorate upstairs . Oh ok yes for you but I always felt like designing your house started as a big priority as outside decorating was a more recent thing.
For me I always focus on my house upgrading and designing before all else but each person plays different

That also makes complete sense! Sadly I knew you could decorate the camper and mine has been decorated from years past—I just completely blanked on the concept that obviously if I owned property in an AC game, there would be a loan attached and the potential for upgrades.I have barely touched the cabin because what would I even DO in there? Stand? Rotate slowly?
The cabin is a strategic help for leveling up the campers occupying it, though— +6 for each pinged interaction when you visit
