Pokémon Pokeball Plus Mew in Sword and Shield?

Basically what the source states is that if you already used Mew in Pokemon Let's Go, you won't be able to get it in Sword and Shield. Does anyone know any other sources that actually say this? I have another event Mew from ORAS, but still, I find it ridiculous that they are locking Mew behind ANOTHER paywall if you already got the Pokeball Plus.

Gamefreak is becoming the new EA (although Mew isn't a pay-to-win, so I guess there's that).

I thought it was ridiculous that they put a Pokemon behind a paywall anyway, especially one like Mew that's going to be desirable. It's even worse that your options are now either:
- Be lucky enough to have bought the thing and not used it, thus at least having the option
- Have to buy another
- Have to subscribe to Pokemon Bank

Or in other words, "give us varying amounts of money".

Or Nintendo...I'm not sure who would get the blame since it's usually the publisher that decides all the monetised stuff. It's not like a Nintendo series hasn't been ridiculously monetised before (Fire Emblem more specifically, the prices of Smash DLC are debatable)

That is pretty lame. I never got that Mew because I never got around to buying a Poke Ball Plus.

Wait is this true? I did not know LGPE Pokemon would be transferable through Pokemon Home.

But I guess there’s a small chance that Let’s Go Pokemon can’t be transferred to a SwSh since they have slightly different stats than the mainline Pok?mon

While true, I'm sure they will find a way to convert them to be the same as the mainline games. Similar to how pokemon from 3DS virtual console can be brought into the newer 3DS games considering natures and abilities didn't exist pre generation 3 and they found a way to create those once brought over.
