After visiting Professor Juniper and being presented with my very own Pokedex, I waste to time at all to embark on my precious journey across the Unova region! My first course of action was to return home so that I could inform my parents and brother of what I hope for my future - that is to become an amazing gym leader that the Unova region has never seen before!
I stock up on Pokeballs, Potions and a lucky escape rope before leaving my home town of Accumula! After passing through the gate and letting my buddy Scraggy out of his Pokeball, to which he immediately sits on top of my foot and latches his arms around my leg, I finally set off!
I'm ready to battle and capture an array of wild Pokemon that Unova has to offer, I even see a Pokemon upon the tree line of route 2! I lose interest in the innocent Pidove I had spotted perched a'top of a tall tree and begin to notice a small group of children in the distance. Due to my family moving so frequently between regions, I've only had one chance of introducing and being tutored by a Pokemon Professor, Mr Birch, back in the Hoenn region. This has led to me being socially excluded from befriending local children, so I don't class myself as a "people" person - especially considering I'm a couple of years older than most newbie trainers these days.

I act on impulse and decide to immediately approach these youngsters. Who knows? They may need my help - or I may need theirs! There's a girl in crutches, so judging from that she looks like she needs all the help she can get! I begin to jog towards them with both my arms waving in the air trying to capture their attention - scraggy runs alongside me trying to keep up. Huffing and panting, I finally reach them.
"H-hi, umm, my name's Clint and I was wondering if you... uh, sorry. Th-this is my little friend Scraggy! We're new trainers, much like yourselves! Are you tr-travelling from Nuvema town?" I question, as I release all of the oxygen from my lungs.
I'm really nervous... I don't know why. Me and Scraggy could probably beat these guys if we were to battle... I should just be nice towards them. I explain to myself in my head.
