So, we have had Pok?mon fusion in Black 2 and White 2, and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (Which I just finished Ultra Sun by beating Hau, may I say great game!?), Primal Reversion in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and Forme Changes throughout the list of Pok?mon in the franchise itself. You probably know what I'm going to ask.

Which is your favorite, and why?

Primal 'cause Primal Dialga needs to HAPPEN in the main games.

Primal Dialga is never going to happen in the main games, at least to the extent of its PMD appearance. Primal Dialga's Japanese name is Dark Dialga and appears as such because the Temporal Tower collapsed and it lost its ability to manipulate time, thus corrupting both the Tower and Dialga. It only became known as Primal when the game was localized and the translators decided to chose a different name, and in this case the word Primal still refers to Dialga being corrupted. Six years later we were formally introduced to a technique called Primal Reversion, and Primal Groudon/Kyogre are restorations of Groudon/Kyogre's true power through an ancient technique called Primal Reversion. There is literally no relation to Primal Dialga from PMD and Primal Kyogre/Groudon from the main series other than a shared English name, because the two are completely different things in Japanese.

Ok nerd

My favourite is form changes cause I like seeing newer formed of older pokemon and the stories behind the type changes

Pok?mon Forme Changes are my favorite transformations as far as the poll is concerned. I like having alternate versions of Pok?mon with different appearances and stat builds from their standard form. The only one I don't really like is Meloetta since you have to burn a slot with Relic Song and the form change isn't maintained after a battle so it cuts into its practicality, which is a shame since I like the design of both forms. Things like Deoxys, Rotom, and Shaymin make the game more interesting.

That said, Primal Reversion isn't too bad either. Ever since Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire were released and were current, I've harbored an unrealistic wish that the Diamond & Pearl remakes would see Regigigas get a Primal Reversion. Get rid of the moss and change its ability to something other than Slow Start. I'm fond of the Regi trio and Regigigas and am disappointed in how pathetic Regigigas is currently.

Fusion has pretty much just resulted in ugly mash-ups that might be powerful but aren't visually appealing. Which, okay, I get that the fusions we've received so far are just kinda abominations that are forcing things together in an unnatural fashion, but eh. As a fan of Kyurem, I would have preferred that we actually saw the return of the original dragon composed of all three instead of Black Kyurem and White Kyurem.

I agree with pretty much all of this. Forme changes are really, really interesting, Regigigas needs to be buffed, and I have a Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, and White Kyurem in Ultra Sun, but I wish instead of White Kyurem and Black Kyurem we just had the complete dragon. I mean, I tried using the Splicers from Ultra Sun a second time for Zekrom and Kyurem, and it’s not even possible if you already have two of them fused. Lol
