So I JUST completed my National Dex in Pokémon X a whole 100% today! My friend was shocked that I did just in the first year that I had the game...though I'm not really sure why...I mean, I'm not very shocked by it. XD The last Pokémon was Hoopa, who was thankfully an event, so no hacking there.
Speaking of hacking, I guarantee you there are hacked Pokémon in my possession that led me to completing the dex. I am disappointed by that fact, but there was literally no other way to obtain some of these Pokémon. Hopefully down the road I'll be able to get the Pokémon legit (preferably caught by me) and be able to call myself a true Pokémon collector.
Right now, I am aiming to have all 721 Pokémon in my possession (I traded some of them, and touch traded for completion purposes, so I have completed the dex 100%, I just don't have every Pokémon still in my boxes XD). As soon as I have all the Pokémon that I can get on my own, I'll start asking other people for certain Pokémon.
I am getting Sun on Christmas, so there's that too. Hopefully when I can transfer from X to Sun, I will have all 802 (I think that's how many there are now?) Pokémon. I am thinking of becoming a full time shiny hunter and actually starting what some people call a 'living dex'. That's when you complete the dex again, only with shiny Pokémon. The legendaries though...oh man XD They are gonna be such a pain. I already got bored with soft-resetting for a shiny Articuno in my Leaf Green game and I'm only at 700 resets. As you can probably tell, soft resetting is not my favorite method...XD It's easy, but SOOO boring...I can literally only get to 100 resets per day before I get bored and want to do something else. Knowing the chances are as low as they can possibly get doesn't help, either. I mean, when I'm shiny hunting in X, I know the chances are very good compared to normal, so I have the drive to keep going.
So yeah. I also started over on Super Mystery Dungeon. It's still hard, but I have gotten better and still having fun XD
