(I'm only going to Level 13 because it's too time-consuming to go all the way to 16, and even then I'm not getting to Roxanne)
Today, I decided to do a session of extreme training.
In the middle of it, this voice kept on whispering in my ear to name all of my POKéMON "gay."
How amazing.
So I went back to ROUTE 101 instead of going ahead to PETALBURG CITY.
And worked my way up from there.
Oh yeah, did I mention that Wally is COMPLETELY USELE--
--SS?
I gawk at this.
WALLY WILL BE THE BEST POKéMON I HAVE BRUH THANK YOU FOR SACRIFICING YOUR LIFE TO TRAIN MY CHILD
Even if you're pretty much useless at LEVEL 3 when facing ZIGZAGOON...
I cry tears of joy at my patience when continuing to invest time and effort in this child, which is quickly becoming a killing machine.
I continue to slaughter the many POKéMON that come my way.
And then another POOCHYENA shows up.
I'm laughing at how weak it should be when I look back up again.
It doesn't look like it was affected at all!
I switch out to Luffy, and BUBBLE it to death.
But why wasn't it affected by my child's CONFUSION?
However, I continue to use this strategy for every future POOCHYENA I run into anyways.
At the end of my grind session on ROUTE 101, I move onto ROUTE 102, and I will probably never care about ROUTE 103 anyways.
However, I notice that Wally isn't moving when in the party.
Thus, I heal the team, and she starts moving again.
I go back to the place where I found Luffy and start training there.
I plan to go to... LEVEL 11 or 12 here? I don't know, depends on how I'm feeling.
I run into YOUNGSTER on ROUTE 103. I beat his POOCHYENA with Luffy, and switch back for the bird named TAILLOW.
Wally uses CONFUSION once, and it faints.
I'M SO PROUD OF YOU, MY CHILD
ANOTHER CHILD
I ruthlessly order Wally to CONFUSE it.
Until it falls over fainted.
I laugh evilly until I run into another POOCHYENA the next battle.
This time I run away like the coward I AM SO TOTALLY NOT.
I decide to come back later and instead head into PETALBURG. I go and talk to some people...
and find this woman looking for WALLY.
WAIT WHAT
There's a boy Wally out there?
I decide to ignore her delusional begs of help and go to the GYM, where I find...
My dad. Oh no. It's the guy that I never knew I had.
He rambles on and on about something, not even saying "Hi," to me, just rambling on and on about how cool it is that I have a POKéMON now.
Then this kid with the ugliest shade of green hair you can possibly have naturally walks in and asks my father for a POKéMON.
My dad thinks for a full five minutes.
"You're WALLY, right?"
I cry at this. So this boy stole my child's name, huh? I'll have to teach him a lesson...
WHAT
DAD HOW COULD YOU I HATE YOU WHY DON'T YOU KNOW THAT MY CHILD IS NAMED WALLY AND THAT THIS BOY IS A NAME-STEALER
To make matters worse, my father hands over a POKé BALL and his own ZIGZAGOON.
So "WALLY" ends up leading me to the tall grass patch on ROUTE 102 nearest to PETALBURG CITY.
I laugh; he's probably going to run into some SEN--sorry, ZIGZAGOON--and catch that.
And so I gawk.
WALLY throws out my father's ZIGZAGOON. He takes forever, thinking about what he should do. He orders ZIGZAGOON to use TACKLE. The RALTS GROWLs at him. He uses TACKLE again.
And then throws the POKé BALL, sealing the child's fate forever.
I can't help but take pity on the poor thing.
He leads me back to the GYM, but I can't hear my father talking. I'm too sad at seeing a child encompassed like that.
I run west from PETALBURG and then into uncharted territory; the PETALBURG WOODS.
However, I get POISONED on my way there, so I run back to the POKéMON CENTER in PETALBURG.
I then run back into the PETALBURG WOODS and take a right right away.
So this was the wrong way.
I head back west.
Then BUG CATCHER LYLE with SIX POKéMON comes and challenges me.
I fall onto the floor laughing as he sends out a LEVEL 3 WURMPLE.
I send out Luffy and sweep the floor with my BUBBLEs.
I continue on.
Guys who actually view this, I am so sorry for the lack of content today. Today I ended up staying TWO HOURS after school ended, and the mega-grind that was promised today never became a reality. Tomorrow will be better, I promise.
Any suggestions? Should I catch a Pokémon in Petalburg Woods?
