Didn't Cosmog originally live in Ultra Space? If so then that makes the mascot legendaries Ultra Beasts as well, and if Necrozma is their counterpart then he must be an Ultra Beast too.

Pink Nectar is in Royal Avenue, Red Nectar is in Ula'ula Meadow, and Purple Nectar is in Poni Meadow. They are found near their respective colored flowers at random times of the day.

well ... I'm not sure the pokedex doesn't say it to well
But they said they live somewhere else.... So if the lived somewhere else how can we get them better in regular poke balls instead of the beast ball??plus cosmog and his evo like lunala and solgaleo look very different from the rest of them and that put necrozoma there too but gotta admit it make sense if that the case

mmm idk if can ask this here but does anyone have an aloan vulpix for trade? preferly around level 37-40 i have moon and i always loved vulpix. I can trade a level 40 haunter which would turn into gengar if you want?

Reading Necrozma's Pok?Dex entry from Sun, "Reminiscent of the Ultra Beasts, this life-form, apparently asleep underground, is thought to have come from another world in ancient times", it is possible that it has been buried under the Earth for so long that it is no longer bathed in the energies found in Ultra Space. Light is the source of its energy, so maybe absorbing the energies of the sun and moon is what makes it capturable in normal Pok?Balls? It is also implied that Solgaleo and Lunala feed off their respective celestial bodies as well, according to their descriptions on the Sun and Moon website. Ultra Beasts are also bathed in energies from their own universe when passing through Ultra Wormholes and can store them in their bodies for later use, which is what the Beast Balls check for when trying to capture them.
As for when Solgaleo and Lunala pass through the wormholes, we aren't intended to have Beast Balls available at that point in the game so lore-wise we don't know if they actually work on them or not. From a coding standpoint, it would make no sense to have the Beast Ball mechanics include Sol and Luna in the list of Pok?mon that count as UBs due to that reason alone (but they might still count as UBs lore-wise). Sol and Luna also want to join the players party, which explains the higher capture rate for standard Pok?Balls compared to Necrozma and the UBs as well.
Going a bit off topic from the rest of my post, I think we can expect to see a Pok?mon Eclipse version. Necrozma feeds off of light, so what better way to introduce a new form for it than to give it light energy from both the sun and the moon when they are present at the same time? If it were to be like Black and White's sequels, then we can expect Lunar Eclipse and Solar Eclipse.

idk but so far on on a shiny chain hunt and ive had it call like 20 snorunts for help and none have been shiny :/

I absolutely HATE how stupid the run-of-the-mill Team Skull grunts are, but I absolutely LOVE Guzma. His battle theme is amazing.
Someone should make a group or a thread here and build a forum Team Skull, complete with ranks, special graphics, and battles.
I'd do it myself, but I suck at organizing/running stuff. xD

I'm still on Melemele island, @Ten Carat Hill. How often does Carbink call in a Sableye to help it? I would really like to catch one. Also, if I take the boat to the next island, can I go back to Melemele?
