Pokémon Pokemon Sun and Moon General Discussion

If u didnt see the video, here is the trailer of the new pokemon that was published yesturday from the pokemon company.

Up to now, I haven't been too interested in Sun & Moon. The only Pokemon designs I really enjoyed before yesterday were pretty much just the starters. Now, however, I'm really interested in Oricorio and I'm looking forward to finding out what the shiny versions of Alolan Sandshrew/Sandslash and Alolan Vulpix/Ninetales will look like.

I can't yet say that I'm fully on board with the games. Considering how little there has been to do after the main story in the past few games, I have to wonder how these games will hold my interest without the standard Gym system and Elite Four. It may work out better, but we still don't have all the information. As such, my hype levels will probably remain neutral until after a full playthrough in November. Here's hoping that it ends up being awesome.

Im so making the Alolan Sandslash part of my team its design is amazing i like how the tip of its claws bend down so it can grip the ice and it will be my first ice type to travel with me in the game

What you wanna bet that Alohan Vulpix and Sandshrew are gonna be version exclusives?

Wait, has it been confirmed that this gen isn't going to have the standard gyms?

I'm not sure how I feel about the Z power attacks. I am happy about them in the sense that at least maybe all Pokemon can do one move so they aren't like Megas where only certain Pokemon has a Mega form.

I adore the icy Vulpix!!

I really was interested in the icy vulpix and ninetales! I really adore it on my team when i get the game soon!

Ah, the icy Alolan forms are LOVELY (I mean, that Ninetails is BEAUTIFUL)!

I have to say, I am personally impressed by the new Pokemon designs for this game. I like almost all of them and they seem to be thoughtfully-created, unlike a lot of what we saw with X/Y (at least in my opinion). I love the Oricorio designs. Also, happy with Minior and Fomantis.

It's going to be hard to build a team of only 6!

I dont know if anyone has mentioned this earlier in the thread and some of you may have already heard but in the pokemon sun/moon website on of the island trial leaders Kiawe it says

"Kiawe is a captain whose expertise is in Fire-type Pok?mon. Together with his Marowak, he studies the traditional dances that have been passed down in the Alola region."

now why would a fire type expertise have a ground type?

Marowak gets and Alolan form and its part fire type!
