Alolan Ratatta confirmed Dark/Normal

Okay here's more on Pokemon Sun and Moon:

During today's Nintendo Direct, a brand new trailer was shown for Pok?mon Sun & Moon. In this trailer, it reveals Alolan Rattata which is Dark/Normal-type with the abilities Gluttony & Hustle. There is also a special Munchlax distribution which comes with Snorlium Z, a special Snorlax Z Move, Pulverizing Pancake, until January 11th 2017. It also knows the moves Hold Back and Happy Hour
Japanese players will also get 12 Quick Balls if they download the game or a Snorlax GX card if they get the retail copy

Yeah.

We get news every week or so and I'm sure they want to keep some things a secret to surprise for the actual release so why reveal almost every Pok?mon from the new region? We're getting news next Tuesday (for me anyway) so I'm sure they will reveal a few more pokemon and more info on the Z rings and hopefully a good amount of gameplay, maybe?

Don't be surprised if we get simple updates

The only thing I don't like about them is how jarring the transition is. There's this epic, destructive animation, and then it just switches back to a normal boring battle scene and it says the Pokemon "fainted". I like the idea, but the execution could've been a little bit better.
 
Well at least each type gets one so it's not a bunch of "here's a handful of individual zmoves and nothing else will ever get them

Though I will admit "Bloom Doom" is hilarious.

And I love that we're getting Happy Hour Munchlax. I love Munchlax

Z moves are just going to be like rayquaza and dragon ascent, aren't they? Minus "mega" transformation.

That's going to be weird if there is Alolan rattata and raticate but only marowak and not cubone. I know I keep going on about this but...

Well this is interesting:

Today, the Korean Rating Board has put out a new rating for a special bit of software. This software is the Pok?mon Sun & Moon Special Trial Version. It's not currently known when this demo will be released, if it will give anything to the main game like Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire's did, or if it will be globally but we'll provide full details as and when they come so be sure to check back
