Pokémon Pokemon Sun and Moon General Discussion

There's apparenlty some guy on 2chan saying he saw Coro Coro, and it leaks Alolan Ekans/Arbok/Electabuzz/Magmar
Ekans line is Fighting and is brown, has "Pixelate" but for Fighting types, so turns Normal type attacks into Fighting, and Dry Skin (also a Sun exclusive, Sandshrew is a Moon exclusive)
Electabuzz is Electric/Fairy, has Friend Guard/Healer
Magmar is Fire/Grass, covered in vines, walks on all fours, and has a new ability that reduces the effectiveness of its opponents attack when it switches to a teammate in battle


They say they'll post images at 7PM JST (so in approx 8 hours 40 mins I think), but I don't believe it. If it was real I don't see why they wouldn't just post them now.

How will Ekans and Arbok be fighting types? Their tail will be a Boxing Glove? And will it be possible that the evolution's for both Electabuzz and Magmar have their Alola forms too?

I can see Ekans and Arbok being fighting types, they don't need to change their tails to boxing gloves, I think a simple pallet swap and minor tweaks can give them that impression.
As for Electabuzz and Magmar, that's where my suspicions rise. I mean, obviously we don't know if only Kanto Pokemon will get Alola Forms, but it looks to be the case right now. So... It could be possible they are just unable to evolve due to their adaptation, but just the description of Alola Magmar screams fake.

I agree with you on Electabuzz and Magmar. If they did get Alolan forms then it means that so would Electavire and Magmortar. Magmar does sound a bit off. Looks like we just gotta wait and see.

Wait if he seen Corocoro, wont that mean he would've seen Rockruff's secret. Therefore he would of said his secret. But he didn't.

The name of the Pok?mon Rockruff evolves into is Lugarugan and has a different appearance based on if it evolves in Day or in Night. It notes that Rockruff becomes the Midday Form when bathed in the rays of the sun and when full of the night's power, it becomes the Midnight Form. No types or further details have been given
There are also two Ultra Beasts called UB02, UB02 Beauty and UB02 Expansion.
10:41: In the scan, it shows UB02 Expansion appearing in Pok?mon Sun, facing off against Tapu Koko and UB02 Beauty facing off against Tapu Koko in Pok?mon Moon.
10:45: It also states that UB01's name is a mystery but may have a deep meaning
10:58: It also reveals that it will show the true strength of the new Pok?mon, Type: Null, during its next issue We'll bring more as it comes.


The last page also shows connectivity with Pokemon GO, apparently showing that creatures sent over from GO will take on the Alolan forms (if I'm interpreting it correctly).

Also, anime scan. Ash looks dorky.

Knew the Ekans stuff would be fake.

Also there's Mallow, again. Alolan starters final evo confirmed.
 
Since Rockruff shares a secret with the starter's, this basically confirms the starters will have a split final evolution, a daytime and a nightine evolution.

No it doesn't. It just says that some Pokemon you find in Pokemon GO have new forms in Alola, it doesn't say anything about connectivity at all.

Pretty much I'm guessing the types will be these (if they change depending on their form):

Rowlett: Grass/Flying (day) Grass/Ground (night)
Litten: Fire/Fighting (day) Fire/Dark (night)
Poppolio: Water/Fairy (day) Water (Night)
 
Love Rockruff's day time evo, but the night time one..they could have done so much better.

If the leaked evolutions are real, the I actually believe they'll all be night time evolutions.
 
It would seem as we have lots of info being hinted at.

- Rockruff's evolution and the day and night form, whereas Rockruff shares a secret with the starters. Knowing that the starters will have day and night forms.

- The CoroCoro anime picture shows Ash with Mallow as his adventure mate. As to the Chinese leak, it shows Ash, Mallow, AND Litten's Final evolution in the Chinese leak. And whatever the official CoroCoro gives out, its 100% true. So, it basically confirms that everything in the Chinese leak is real.

- The Ultra Beasts strongly resemble the Aether Foundation members. And it did say that the Ultra Beasts can carry out a possible threat to humans and Pokemon. So maybe the Aether Foundation IS evil. (I'm only guessing. So this may be wrong.)

Maybe we'll get more info on this in the future. (Highly doubt the Sep 14 news will show anything of what I said)
