From what it seems, the National Pok?Dex isn't even in the game. ._. https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/5cdv6z/so_apparently_there_is_no_national_pokedex_in_sun/
Instead, it looks like a new feature is being added to Pok?Bank that will allow you to view the National Dex within the application. http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-au/pokemon-bank/ Near the bottom. Hopefully Sun and Moon is patched to have the National Dex in it as well, when Pok?Bank is updated in January.
Smogon reports that a Pok?mon bred with stats boosted through Bottle Caps will still pass down their original IVs. It is under the FAQs section on the main post, everything is in separate spoilers (except the FAQs so don't worry about coming across anything that might ruin your SM experience. http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...on-sun-and-moon-mine-resource-thread.3586425/
I wouldn't know where to look for the other two things since the only other places I haven't checked are places that contain story spoilers.
Also, I am glad someone else cares about what type of ball their Pok?mon is bred in. The entire reason why I bothered catching genderless Pok?mon in XY not too long ago was because I was hoping Game Freak did something like this for SM. If it is true, I can finally breed for my Dusk Ball shiny Golurk and Bronzong, as well as my Premier Ball shiny Metagross.
This makes me very happy.
Because that was the bane of my existence even when the other team was terrible.
Man the ultra beasts are so damn weird. And creepy. I think its the very creative use of design without emphasis on a face. I'm sure pikachu would be terrifying if it had no face too.
I tried the demo and was not impressed at all. I felt like I was playing a game being marketed towards edgy 10 year old gangsters and/or hipsters. The music during the battle against Team Whocares was incredibly cringe inducing and I don't see why they wanted me to take pictures of Pokemon so bad.
I was expecting it to be scald
HOW TO GET BOTTLE CAPS
>Bottle Caps can be obtained by trading Red/Blue/Green/Yellow Shards with a guy at the Festival Plaza. Shards can be obtained from the Pelago (the island thing when you store pokemon in PC)
The TL;DR: edition:
IVs:
>To Hyper Train, you need a Bottle Cap and a Pokemon at level 100
>There are two types of Bottle Caps, one which max out one stat and one which maxes out all stats
>Hyper Training doesn't actually set IVs to 31, it instead sets a flag that makes the game treat all IVs as 31, meaning that the ORIGINAL HIDDEN POWER IS KEPT
>In other words, a Hyper Trained Ditto is not a 31 IV Ditto and will use the old imperfect IVs when bred
>Bottle Caps can be obtained by trading Red/Blue/Green/Yellow Shards with a guy at the Festival Plaza. Shards can be obtained from the Pelago.
>"hurr durr no blissey bases how do I get to level 100" - Levels can be raised using most of the same features that raise EVs (Plaza, Pelago) described below
EVs - The Poke Pelago (PASSIVELY TRAIN EVS WHILE YOU SLEEP OR DO SOMETHING ELSE)
>At the third and final upgrade, Isle Evelup has 3 groups. Each group can have up to 6 Pokemon each and each group can focus on training one stat at a time.
>WITHOUT Poke Beans, each group gains 4 EVs every 30 minutes (8 EVs per hour or 31 and a half hours to max a stat).
>WITH Poke Beans, each group gains 4 EVs every 15 minutes (16 EVs per hour or 15 and a half hours to max a stat).
>You can set the precise interval you want to train if you want to reach a specific final EV.
so do the ivs register for competitive battles?Hyper Training doesn't actually set IVs to 31, it instead sets a flag that makes the game treat all IVs as 31, meaning that the ORIGINAL HIDDEN POWER IS KEPT
You know
I really wonder why they have Anabel of all people returning.
I guess it's okay because I only know bits and pieces of spoilers.
The games better live up to the hype, cuz you just never know! Friday is soon upon us! <3
