Had a few good games and managed to get this at the final hour. I've been having a lot of fun using my Melmetal and Volcarona decks! Can't wait for that Dialga EX to drop! :3

Not sure if anyone else's noticed this but I usually open the same packs twice a day looking for something rare I need but get common ones. When I open a pack I haven't chosen in a while (Mewtwo just now) I'll hear a unique sound and get a rare ex artwork card. Does switching between the packs actually increase the chance of getting a valuable card while choosing the same decreases it? I'm curious.

I think it’s random. I’ve gotten the Full Art Dedenne four times within the past three days. One thing I did discover that seems to be extremely rare is get a pack full of nothing but rare and Full Art cards.

Don't think it does! The rates are fixed so it would be weird if they had some hidden mechanic with regards to pulling :0 And don't worry about being unlucky, you and I are on the same boat! I've barely had any luck with pulls, I could go on for days without any sort of full art or EX card And I've gotten no god packs since game launch. Would like that sort of luck someday

Anyway the other day was a complete 180 for my luck, finally broke my unlucky streak with not one but TWO extremely lucky pulls! I got full art Zapdos from opening a pack and felt really good, then I went to wonderpick and saw a full art Moltres. I said, well this most likely will result in a dud but it would be really funny if I got that Moltres. I screamed when the card flipped and it was indeed the full art All happened within 3 mins of me opening the game LMAO. I was riding an INSANE amount of high

Space-Time Smackdown set is now live. I opened 15 packs already and no Dialga EX. Yet my brother already gets his freaking Palkia EX

I’ve been saving up some hourglasses and opened some of the new packs this morning, got incredibly lucky with an immersive Palkia! (Amongst some other cool cards)

Well my Space Time pulls were pretty bad today, but on the bright side I got early Cresselia EX cards from the new event! Finally my luck is turning around for these outbreak events because I swear the with Lapras & Venusaur EX I had to do 30-ish pulls before getting a single EX

I don't see myself using Cresselia EX that much just yet (since Weavile/Darkrai EX destroys it & is also meta), buuuut I couldn't pass up putting Cresselia in the pink hearts display with sparkle effects ️

thanks to trading I finally finished the Genetic Apex set! I thought you had to get all cards to get Mew, turns out you just needed one card of each of the 151 pokemon meaning you don't really need all of the EX cards lol. regardless, completed it for completion's sake!

also um my card pulls are SO bad. i went on about 10-15 packs before I got a single EX sigh. anyway my wonder picks kinda make up for my card pulls!

Baby! I had no idea there was another Mew card! I looked at my collection to see what ones were missing but it doesn’t show all the cards. I thought I put all of them on my wishlist by checking what was in each pack. I didn’t see that one at all .

How is the trade feature? I haven’t tried it yet since I’m kinda nervous of asking for a trade and bothering people that aren’t interested accidentally .

It's a secret card from a secret mission so I don't think it shows up on the lists!

The trade feature is kinda terrible right now currency-wise if you're an F2P player You need to trade in dupe cards to get currency for trading higher-rarity cards (3 cards and above) so I was budgeting it lol. Glad I had enough to complete the set! And no wishlist feature so unfortunately you'd have to ask around to do some trades. I joined a TCGP discord server to do some trades and it was okay, very chaotic since there were SO many people chatting but I made it out alive lmao

Thanks so much for explaining ; I got something in the mail the other day that said something about trading and the rarity that I could trade. I wasn’t sure what that was about. That really helps!

Oh yeah I got that! I meant there's no way you can see other players' wishlishts when trading so that kinda sucks for trading right now since you'd have to go to external sites like discord just to ask people what they want lol. Would be a nice QoL if TCGP could let us see others' wishlist to make things easier ^^

Oh my bad! I had no idea that we couldn’t. It’s weird we can’t view our own list too. You’re right! That would be great ; I’d like it too if we could just gift cards to each other and not need to ask for a card in return.

if you need a good way to track cards, i personally use a spreadsheet that includes all three sets, plus some of the promo cards? it's pretty easy to use imo and even breaks down percentages to show which pack you're missing the most from and should open. i can link you to it?
