Poll: Will you buy a Animal Crossing New Horizon Themed Switch Lite if one comes out?

I have a regular Switch and plan to also purchase a Switch Lite so that I can have a second island at the same time.

Whether or not I would buy a New Horizon themed Switch Lite, would depend on how cute it is and how much it costs. It would have to be pretty cute to inspire me to pay more than the non-themed ones.

If I don't buy an ACNH themed Switch Lite, then I'll buy a yellow one.

No not me personally because I already have a switch and if it breaks or gets lost I most likely would just buy another regular switch unless they came out with a regular animal crossing themed switch. I like to put my games on the tv occasionally so I would definitely miss that feature a lot.

I'm not looking to get a Switch Lite but I wouldn't mind a pair of New Horizons themed joy-cons.

I wont even upgrade to the newest longer lasting switch.

For me, they would need to upgrade the console significantly in order for me to feel like its worth investing all over again.

I talking bumping up the resolution of the screen, better battery life, new overall slimmer design that is refined and removes any and all joy con issues (eg drift) and doesn't overheat, and more powerful.

Thats the only thing that will make me upgrade now. Chances of it happening....probably zero. :(

i think id rather pay for a acnh standard switch than lite. the features on the standard just appeals more and is worth the extra 100 and would save my eyes long term. lol

Nope, I will 100% buy a standard switch if its AC themed but never a Lite.

Seeing as I already have a Switch, probably not, especially since I'm not a huge fan of the fact that the Lite is strictly handheld. However, if they release a pretty slick design for one, the collector in me will be sure to pick it up to add it to my beloved Animal Crossing collection. Does that mean I'll use it to play the game? Definitely not. If there's a regular Animal Crossing themed Switch though? Oh golly...

I totally agree with you and right now on youtube, people are talking about drift issue on switch lite, I hope we can find a solution to transfer our save file on a new switch if we have a problem with the Switch console.

I don’t think I’ll buy one for myself just because I recently got a regular Nintendo Switch this summer. It wouldn’t make much sense to get another one, especially when I don’t have a lot of Switch games in the first place.

That being said, I may consider buying one and then gifting it to a friend of mine to get them interested in Animal Crossing. :)

I don't have a switch yet, so I'll guess I'll just get whatever the cutest AC themed console is :)

As a lot of people are saying, I would only get a regular switch. I love the idea of switching from handheld to TV and back. I share a TV with my boyfriend so it will be nice to use the TV when I can (or demand it if theres a big event! He can use the PC then, lol) but also be able to give him the TV when he wants to watch or play something, and I don't have to save and quit - I can just pop it out and keep playing next to him, or lay down in bed.

I think themed Nintendo Consoles usually go for the same as regular - at least when first sold. Obviously scalpers jack the price.

I can't imagine any sort of animal crossing themed switch lite that would appeal to me tbh

I didn't like the poptart designs, but I loved the recent release in mint green. This one here: https://images.app.goo.gl/XGY6ZEEx4B9BqrQd9

So I think if they go this way I would be interested. If its poptart designs again, I won't get it.

depends how it looks. I wish Nintendo would make more see through consoles, I really like how those look.

When I was a kid, I ACHED for that atomic purple gameboy. My mom got me a teal one and I loved it, but that clear purple...so cool.

If they announced an OFFICIAL clear switch I'd preorder right away, no hesitation.

Probably not. I?d rather have a regular or upgraded switch bundle, since I?m excited to be able to play on the tv too. Of course I?m going to need the portability for AC but I don?t want to give up the option for home console play. Right now I?m sharing the switch I have, but I?d like to have one for my boyfriend and I do we can play together.

Don't forget you can play together on one switch! You can see in the E3 Treehouse footage - each using a joycon.

Depends. I may have gone a 'little' overboard with the 2/3 DSXLs, buying every special edition I encountered now numbering somewhere between 30 and 40. We are currently in possession of one original Switch and two Switch Lites and won't know where that will lead until late March 2020. I'm not optimistic about AC on a single screen but time will tell...
