Possible sign of Valentine's Day event?

Used the paper early this week.
In ACNL villagers sent a chocolate heart if you had a high friendship. Lower they sent hybrid flower.
Isabelle sent a chocolate cake. Mom sent a cacao tree or shirt. First year it was usually the tree.
Brewster only gave hot chocolate if you sat at the counter.

In ACNH I hope we get a chocolate heart from the villagers and a DIY Valentine Pochette from Isabelle.

I do feel like they might acknowledge it with a cute item or two and maybe some villager dialogue. I know peppy types like to go on about their dream mans so maybe they'll give us some love story tea.

They've been in the game since launch, same as all the other seasonal postcards you can get.

There's also Mother's Day and Father's Day cards in there, and they were only Nook Stop items, so idk what's actually going to happen for Valentine's Day in NH, especially given as Festivale is the 15th.

No, the update's happening in January, Festivale's always the day before Mardi Gras/Shrove Tuesday (so February or March)

a valentine pochette would be amazing! i definitely hope we get some sort of DIY on the day. i also didn't realise just how many things you got as gifts in NL! i really hope NH pulls something good out for it now i know what to compare it against lol

These were probably added in the Toy Day update, but were unlocked today (maybe yesterday, as I didn't play the game yesterday so I couldn't check if they were available).

They've been there for at least a couple days now actually

I'm guessing they've been available since day 1, people just haven't TTed far enough to see them yet (I'm pretty sure Halloween/Toy Day stationary was available at release, too, but all of them were date-locked).

That being said, there have been a lot of mini-events in this game, and I imagine we'll get a little something for Valentine's day! I certainly hope so, at least. Even if it's just a new item or two, I'd be happy

Yeah, that's why I said "maybe yesterday". I remember sending mail to another player around the second week of January, and these postcards weren't there at the time. As I haven't seen anyone mentioning them here (and I thought some other people - besides me - would make the connection between the postcards and a possible Valentine's Day event), I thought they were added just a couple days ago.

Notice that they did it before with the Halloween arch and the wedding furniture which was extremely similar, what do you think? I would LOVE to see this furniture, the chocolate bed looks so so lovely!

Oooh I hope so! Though I think they could just be fun cards in an otherwise kind of bland time of year, you know? I'd like to Reese and Cyrus come back for a little mini event or something or have you hand chocolate/flowers or something to villagers. One day we'll get more info about the update. I'd hope with V day being so close something (even small) would be included for that!!

Valentine's is the chocolate heart and a heart-shape bouquet you can purchase on the nookstop and mail it to others with the cards if you want.
