Day 51! 51 is a good number to represent today. Remember way back when you were in elmentary school and just learning to count? 25, 50, 75, 100... Good milestone numbers, right?
Well you hit 25, cool. Then you hit 50, awesome! But once you hit 50... Then you get 51. Just an ugly number by comparison, right? Not an even, clean number... Two quarters and a penny. Well that's what today was like. Yesterday, after a long countdown, it was my birthday! Now today, it's flipping a page and starting a new countdown. Of course there's a lot of little fun things coming up (55, 60, 65, 70 if we're still using the analogy), but now I have to get another "25" until the next big event... And for an elementary student, counting up 25 numbers can take awhile. Anyway, enough analogies for now. Let's talk about my day. So I woke up relatively early to get to school early. My band and choir directors wanted to practice some music from the musical with me, so we did for a bit. Then my choir director picked out some songs she didn't want me to play... Which was good because the songs she omitted were boring ballads that I didn't really want to play anyway. Plus, now I get more breaks between songs! Afterwards, I studied for my History test. Then the day drove by... One test, one pop quiz... Nothing much. After school, my dad and I had to go to a meeting regarding our DC trip later this month (which I'm excited for!) And that was my Thursday! I guess I'll talk again tomorrow because I don't have much else to say... So, seeya!
Question of the day: Wasn't my analogy AWESOME!?
