This basically. It doesn't matter if it's WORTH anything. If it's not WORTH your time to make a useful post than it's not WORTH your time to post at all.

The rules don't end because it's the basement, post quality counts all over the forum. Try and keep it at least a sentence. Especially in mafia, it's a pain when someone posts one word in mafia and we're discussing things. It's a nuisance. So you don't need to understand anything but put a little effort into posts

Though when is strategic spam acceptable? I personally don't do it, but if someone spams the thread with nonsense that barely relates to the game is it breaking a rule? People do it to get lynched on purpose (if they're a fool), or to distract town. I know some games allow spam and some don't, so idk.

Well spam is the reason cory was banned from my game and oaths future games. That and being a distraction.

Playing the fool doesn't necessarily mean you need to spam, haha.
