Preorder Bonuses

Hey there! So there are a lot of preorder bonuses out there but in America, the only major one is the journal from target. This post is just asking if any of you got a bonus with your game or if you chose where to buy it based on the bonus.

Target sold out of preorders days after it went online, but all is not lost! I was so bummed because I had all these plans to write and draw in my journal while playing the game. On Thursday, I noticed they actually were available again and I snagged it right up. Checking again this morning, I noticed they were out again though. If you still want it, there is still a chance it will go back up. It is sadly only at target online and you can't get the bonus if you are picking up in stores.

The only thing with getting a bonus online is that you can't play it day 1. My husband plays, but isn't as in to the game so thankfully we are in a position where I can download it day 1 and he can just wait for the mail and play the hard copy when it comes.

You guys in Europe have some pretty cool pins and bags that I wish we could get...

I preordered from target on the fifth this month and literally an 1 and a half later that night, they sold out again. It’s so crazy with target preorders, it’s like “it’s back!....it’s gone” rinse repeat xD

It's weird that gamestop still hasn't said anything about preorder bonuses, when they are the ones that always seem to have some kind of swag. Maybe there will be something cool on the horizon.

I pre-ordered from Best Buy and it comes with a phone badge. Literally didn't know that when pre-ordering and don't care. Pre-ordered there because of the discounts I had.

I really like the journal too, so I pre-ordered the day it was available.

But... I'm not willing to wait to play until it comes in the mail so I will be grabbing a copy in store at 8am on the 20th, and then just returning the one that comes in the mail, using the in store receipt.

i think the only one i’ve seen for canada is if you preorder from best buy, you get a keychain

Ordered from target with that journal that comes with it. Though I read that I’ll have to go to the store to pick the book up...which is about 45 minutes away from where I live... kinda a big drive if that’s the only thing that you are going for

My AC Switch preorder directly from Nintendo comes with a travel case to carry my switch in, it looks super neat and really finishes off the whole Animal Crossing look. There was also the option to get the tote bag for free too, but I didn't see what use I would have for it so opted to just take the case.

I just pre ordered the switch and was waiting for my financial aid to come in before I bought the game. I was literally just a day short of getting it.

Still a little salty about it but at least I can get a physical copy of the game from Gamestop same day.

Thinking of pre-ordering from Amazon because it's the cheapest price & if you're a Prime member you get $5 off. I was planning to buy the game in-store but it's just a hassle and not as cheap.

Here in Australia I don't think there's any pre-order bonus from Amazon. From JB Hi-Fi you get a pin, and from EB Games a keychain. Both selected at random too...so, probably not worth it. Would be a nice surprise if something extra turned up with my Amazon copy though.

You can still get it in such a limited window as it was how I got my copy

In australia, we get pins or keychains. I picked the keychain choice.
however you can only get 1 out of 3 designs which is quite crap

Where I live we only have pretty ****ty items, but my neighoring country has little figurines packs so I hope they'll sell them seperately once the game out.

I pre-ordered a Japanese copy from JP Amazon for the Bento box. $64 USD (shipping included) but wont arrive till March 23-26. This is not a problem for me since I already planned on two copies so the other I'll get from NA eShop.

Can the journal from Target be purchased separately, other than buying preowned?
