5am is my favorite. The light colors of the sun just barely coming up mixed with the music makes me feel a way I can't explain. Nostalgia/sadness/calmness/happiness.. it's really nice!

Haven’t seen it in-game since release week, but the crisp light blue sky combined with the beautiful early morning music is pure bliss.

Right when the sun is setting. That glow gives all the texture a very, very nice look, it made me legitimately appreciate the graphics.

I voted for evening, but I was more thinking of the golden hour of early sunset. It's my favourite time to play without a doubt. When the game came out, I would run around the town following the setting sun, snapping pics of how it glowed on all the different surfaces. The light is so deep and warm and yet the shadows are so soft and vivid, just like a real golden hour. The sky changes pretty constantly during the golden hour and sunset, and because of how much effort they put into the weather and clouds, it never looks the same. They did a great job with the lighting on the clouds, too.

It's probably one of my favourite parts of the game and I got so excited when the sun started setting later in the day. (I'm playing in the NH from Australia, so it's also magical to have a beautiful golden hour when it's pitch black outside at 5:30, lol.) They really nailed the ambience and the graphics in general.

The music is really beautiful, like a lullaby! I've only gotten to play at dawn once (other than travelling to other people's islands briefly), and the way it goes from the eerie green-grey to the soft morning blue is perfect. Even though the change over an hour or two is dramatic, it feels so unhurried and gentle.

From late 4PM to 6PM. The pretty sky and the bright golden tone that covers everything is just gorgeous ;_;
