I have been onto my biography and everything like that but i cannot find the section that allows me to change my profile picture, could anyone guide me whereto go so I can do this?

Click above at the page on "Settings". On the left site, there is a field with "My Settings".
Click there on "Edit Avatar". You have then the site where you can upload a pic from your
PC or you can choose one of the profile pics of the villagers down below if you want. Don't
forget to click then on "Save Changes" down below on the site, so that you save everything.
