As long as it is not something in the game, I’m indifferent to this and “okay”, though am not interested due to a couple of reasons one being that I’m not interested in anything AC related outside the game except maybe amiibos and another reason is political.

do people not understand that different people work on different parts of a game? i gurantee the merchandise team doesnt work on the actual game

People actually thought this was an update? They really need to understand Nintendo is a business and they like to make money with their games on merchandise. Its nothing new.

I'm not personally a fan of sneaker/brand collaborations like this, but it's nice they exist for people that want to buy them.

It does seem worth noting that Animal Crossing is now a big enough brand to get a collaboration like this. I'm sure there have been a few, but I can't recall many other video games (outside of Mario and Sonic) getting a shoe collaboration from a major sneaker brand like this.

The shoes are.... Honestly kind of hideous and the hoodie looks like all the other generic acnh merch but I'm still very intrigued. I sort of want to get a pair of the shoes just for the novelty though I might wait until they're discounted because I don't think the Venn diagram of people who are into athleisurewear and people who are into acnh merch that much has that much overlap

The replies were fairly calm earlier, and there was a lot of memes about "AC drip" and such in addition to the usual "NH BAD!!!1" replies, but it's gotten worse since then.

Yah, I'm not sure what an update has ANYTHING to do with new merchandise? It's not like they made sneakers instead of an update, that's not how it works at all

Anyway, I think they look super cute! I'd definitely be interested... except it seems they're suede. I don't do suede/leather

ngl, I thought it was at alluding to something at first. This was posted in a very vague way on NOA's twitter account, and I have no idea who or what Puma is.

The shoes look cool, but I’m not interested in them. They don’t fit my style. I don’t plan on owning any Animal Crossing apparel. The only merchandise I have outside of the actual games are the plushes. I currently only have a Bones plush. I’m not excited for this Puma collaboration.

I actually really like the shoes. The colors are really nice. I just don't know about how late this collection is being dropped in northern hemisphere summer. I'd hate to wait until late next spring to wear them without ruining them

I was excited when I read the title and then I saw the shoes and was disappointed by the design. They look like they're from Payless Shoes (which was a crappy canadian shoe company that closed). The build of the shoe itself could have been better but oh well. At least the colours are cute?

These probably won’t even come to my country nothing ever does like the collection of animal crossing with uniqlo clothing it never came here so I don’t really bother anymore
