Question about Happy Homes.

So I know that you can't invite customers in the Happy Homes DLC to your island. I'm wondering though whether that means any villagers that appear as customers will not appear in campsites and deserted islands, or if it just means you can't go to the Happy Homes and ask a customer to come to your island.

I think you're misunderstanding. You see you can invite the villagers who live on your island but they will still stay on your main island while at the same time still being at the Resort. The only to do that is to buy Souvenir Cookies from Lottie's shop and then give it to one of your villagers in order to invite them. Just because you do that doesn't mean they won't appear at campsite visits or deserted islands.

There seems to be some confusion going around where people are thinking that just because random villagers appear on resorts will not mean that they will appear at the campsite or nook mile islands. They do but its probably because they are different versions. Which can make it confusing to understand. Like for me I saw one of my old villagers on the Resort, but they didn't seem to remember who I was so in my mind I was thinking it was a different type of villager.

I guess the point I'm trying to say is that villagers are different on the resort than when you see them on your island, random campsite visits, or Nook Mile islands and they can still appear despite still being at the resort. I hope this made more sense.

Yeah they will. Again its very confusing because you mistake your villagers as like "Customers" when you already saw them on your main island. I seen some people ask if they can invite villagers at the Resort to your island but sadly that doesn't work like that. Although if your villager from your island does move way, they still remain at the resort.
