Question about island names

are island names followed up by 'island'? as in, if i type in like. idk. 'forest', will it be rendered in game as 'forest island' or just 'forest'? sorry if this thread already exists or anything, ive seen conflicting info and everythings moving real fast rn lmao

It seems to me like it would just be 'Forest', not 'Forest Island'.

The suffixes are only for the Japanese version (possibly other languages?) but it's not available for English versions.

It is only the name you choose, no "island" or any ending name whatsoever. If you wish to have "island" or "forest" you must factor that into the 10 character limit.
