Question about the new dlc pack?

For all of you Islanders who have multiple profiles on your switch to design them to be like houses or restaurants or whatever, will you be able to access the DLC from your other multiple profiles or will it be locked to the main owner?

If so, this is going to be challenging :-(

I think in this example it's like you have character a who is the island rep and he is the main owner of the game.
Profiles b and c aren't linked to an account (and you can't link them to the same email address if I'm correct) won't have access to it

From what I understand, if you buy the standalone DLC, all accounts on the Switch will be able to use the DLC. If you get access to the DLC through the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, then it sounds like only the account(s) that have Nintendo Switch Online can use the DLC, and only as long as you have an active Nintendo Switch Online account.

I would suggest buying the standalone DLC.

You will probably have to buy the DLC for both accounts because you're playing on 2 Switches.

I've been thinking about this, maybe to prevent this they will give the main character the ability to remodel other player houses, the same way we will be able to do with villagers.

I could be totally wrong, but this way even if just one profile gets acmes to this, all the other houses can be remodeled.

Unless they are pushing people to get the family plan which is 8 profiles, I think they will find a get around for players buying the subscription. Mine is ending in December, so I have to renew and was planning to buy it that way, but if I'm not all able to remodel all houses, I will buy it separately, because $30 to remodel one more house I have is way too much.

thats probably the reason why they put it into the nintendo online expansion. if you get the family plan with all your profiles and maybe some friends/family its acutally worth it.

I heard if you get the DLC with the subscription plan if you get rid of the subscription the DLC goes away with it. I will probably just buy one for each of my profiles since I have two both profiles on two switches.
