Question: What happens if I do a name change during the TBT 2020 Fair?

I assume I would put, (formerly Lori377), in text under my pfp and leave it there for a looong while, and use my new username to put my name in things for events with as far as writing them down in photos or saying them for text in game for screen caps? How would that work? Also, how can I find out if a particular name is taken or not? Thank you so much for your time and answering in advance!

also, just search the members list (or go through the process of making a new account while not logged in, but just far enough to check if the username is available. don't actually make the account, as that stands to get you into trouble and lose all your fair rewards)

Simply make a thread in Contact the Staff so that we can amend any ticket/staff favourite lists your original username has previously been recorded on. Any submissions made under your new username would need to have that new username in the screenshots/name cards.

As a general rule, assume we record your username at the time the submission is made - this isn't quite how it works, but it's the easiest way to explain it.
