Qustion about lighthouse and Windmill

The windmill and lighthouse have a purpose and are not just for decoration. The Lighthouse increases your chances of getting rare fish. The Windmill boosts your town rating, and helps you get a perfect town status.

Anybody know if this is true? Cause im a fisher and i want rare fish

It has been pretty much accepted that the lighthouse increases chances of seeing rare fish. I don't have one though, so I can't tell you if it's true. Also I don't know about the windmill boosting your town rating.

i think they're both just decoration purposes... i've looked everywhere for something to confirm this, and i can't find anything... i won't believe this until i get a legitimate site's link on here somewhere, lol.

i am getting my lighthouse tomorrow though, and i fish a lot, so i'll be able to tell if there's a difference... i hope, lol.

I just got my lighthouse today. I'll be fishing more to see how many rare fish I get compared to sea bass and horse mackerels. I am sick of horse macks!! lol
