Hello! If Deirdre moved out recently she won’t be able to move back. If you have her amiibo card and a scanner / new 3DS you can get her back instantly. But if you wanted to adopt her from another player you have to move out 16 villagers after Deirdre has left to be able to adopt her again.

Do you only have 1 card? I’m not sure if you can use just 1 card to do the 16 villager cycle. You could always pick another uchi to replace Deirdre, though I understand the attachment. I really love Deirdre.
