Agreed.

I wouldn't want to make a thread about something, and have someone come in and "rank it" low, when I wasn't expecting a rating at all.

The ranking system will take away the friendly/layed back nature of TBT, and make it seem all...serious and stuff...


I dunno' if that made any sense, it's hard to explain what I'm trying to say...

I agree. All it will do is cause trouble. If you have any common sense you would know if your thread was good or bad without a stupid ranking system. And it doesnt really matter...

.....I'm just thinking, first of all not everybody HAS to review the thread, and if it was really necessary then you could just have a "check button" to stop it from being able to.

There were only 2 threads for this topic. Why wouldn't I want to agree with those who disagree with the ranking system, and if I disagree with it too. I'm just throwing my opinion out there for the members, even if I have already done so in the Old Sage Board.

I wouldn't care if my threads got a 1 or a 5. It makes no difference to me.

I don't see the benefit of having this. For younger members, some people may give their threads low ratings, which may not make them feel good and then they'd be discouraged to be active.

I agree with Darth, this won't exactly be welcoming the way Fabio is putting it. You can't just rate the topic and say "You get a 1, your thread sucks." I would be for it if you would give honest feedback and tell them why it is a 1. Help them spell the word show them proper grammar.

Hm, if you had a toggle funtion to turn it on and off, it could be used for articles. But other then that, I see no point.
