So it is really time for one of them to go, but I have absolutely no luck. This drives me crazy. Skipped like 2 years already, Sly got thinking bubble, but everytime it's just something else. I feel horrible, but I had to gift him thrash then ignore him for 30 days. And yet, he doesn't want to move. How is this even possible? Don't get me wrong, I adore Sly, he is a cute boy, just not going that well with my island theme. So is there any chance for him to move out? Am I been unlucky or the chance is that low? Feeling like campers are so hard to say bye-bye to.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, the last villager who moved in (in your case, Sly) will never ask to move out.

If Sly is your most recently moved in villager, he won't ask to leave. The only way you could get him to move out without first kicking someone else out, is if another camper asks to replace Sly. If you already have your 9 other most wanted villagers, do it that way. Otherwise boot someone else then island hunt for someone you like. Then go for moving out Sly.

Everything provided so far is correct and this info is probably in the guide thoughtfully provide above but just wanted to note that villagers from the campsite do not have less of a chance to ask to move out in general, they follow the same mechanics as villagers who move on any other way - so you do not have to worry about inviting campsite villagers in the future. And also, ignoring a villager will not decrease friendship with them, so will not increase the chances of them asking to move out (including when they are not the 10th villager and can ask to move out normally)
