Real world timeline for DJ KK in HHP?

I just started playing the dlc this week, and I've done 9 homes and the school so far.

I've heard there needs to be a certain number of real world days that have to pass in addition to the 30 homes and extra facilities being done before KK shows up and does his concert, but I can't find anything about that so I was wondering if anyone here could shed some light on that?

No, the # of days you've played the DLC don't matter to unlock DJ KK, only the 30 homes + 6 facilities do. After his initial concert he'll show up roughly once every 2 weeks.

The only feature that requires visiting HHP on different days is for unlocking the Room Sketch app. You need a total of 11 days (not necessarily consecutive) and have learned all Soundscapes for it.
