I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this but, unlike the other games CF tries to portay every villager and the human character as small children, one of the neat things about AC is because the characters can be any age you want them to be... the villagers in this game commonly refer themselves to children, and some even say they live with a "mom" which I don't see how is possibly since they live alone, maybe they are delusional. They also refer to the human character as a child.... I always imagined myself to be my age and the villagers around me to be a variety of ages from teen to like 30....

true, very true...i think we should be able 2 control our height and age at the beginning

No I don't think that's really needed, just look at AC characters, they all look the same basically, even characters like tortimer, they can be any age you want them to be in your head.

Agreed. I mean really.
Fishing AT Age 5?
Shoveling at Age 7?

They should.

Villager: Do you Clean your room?
Me: Never.
Villager: WOW THAT'S AMAZING FROM NOW OWN EVERY TIME MY MOM SAYS TO CLEAN MY ROOM ILL JUST TELL THEM ABOUT YOU
1. You only have one room in your house...
2. You live by yourself, your imaginary friend doesn't count.

Sorta :eek:fftopic: What if you could marry vilagers?
Then i'd marry Olivia or Mitzi and make Catgirl/Catguy babies. (I had a crush on them when I was younger XD)

Lol.. you used to be able to get them to love you in the old games, I've been trying in CF but it doesn't seem to work.

obviously you are using your imagination to see whatever age you want them to be, so why are you complaining?

Its time Anchovy! lets get married!
jk
but I think Nintendo should take out the kid talk in the animals and make it more "ageless" like everything in AC

I just think the sound of their voices define their age. Like Bones has a light sort voice, Camofrog is very deep and complained of being old to me one day.

I have the rabbit Gaston. He's one of my favorite townies, because he's a curmudgeonly old yellow bunny with wrinkly eyes and a huge mustache. He is definitely not like a kid and he never talks about his Mom! The townies with the "lazy" personality do, so perhaps that's what you mean. (Like Punchy, or Bob or Jeremiah, for example.)

I imagine my little person to be me, but in the body of a 10 year old, which is sort of how you're portrayed in the game. I use my imagination, and I think you just can't take the game too seriously. :glasses:

even thought the humans look kidish, I make my AC character wear cloths that are more womenly (like a open back and nice neckline dress) that way I don't feel like a kid playing AC

so I guess it depends on who you are since the Game is so vercitile, you can make a space house, or a kiddie room, or princess house etc...
