Really Weird Question I Have

Fun fact: Robin Williams used to be active on a forum dedicated to bikes, but people found out it was him and he had to quit posting.

He was also a huge Nintendo fan, more or less obviously, so it'd be no big surprise if he posted on sites like this as well, from time to time.

Thinking of Robin Williams browsing and posting on a Nintendo-dedicated forum like this one warms my cold, dead heart.

I swear the world is missing a huge piece of it without him.

I would imagine so. If I were famous and I had the time, I would probably browse internet forums and the like.

what!? my husband plays acnl?!

yeah! he has a 3ds. back in the day when I used twitter (and didn't have a ds then) he posted his friend code and he tweeted about playing new leaf and adding him.

Dylan is financially secure as well but he enjoys working at a bar, he says he likes buying too many video gams not to hahahaha

Yeah I feel like they would occasionally search up their name or like a generic sentence and just flip through the google pages to come across a forum post about them!

Absolutely. Everybody is enthusiastic about something and what would stop celebrities from talking to like-minded people online under a synonym? There are so many of them talking about Reddit and especially actors use social media to promote and visit forums for their shows on special occasion, of course they are also going to look at other websites and enjoy the anonymity of it.

It wouldn't be unheard of. Ten years ago I frequented a Nintendo forum where Noel Clarke was also a member.

Yeah definitely, I remember listening to the podcast "Finding Richard Simmons" and the host had mentioned that Richard used to lurk Facebook groups and forums and really got to know people. I know voice actors have also admitted to at least trawling the internet and seeing opinions people had about them.

If they're pretty big video game fans then maybe so.

I also heard of a famous fighter having an account on a pokemon forums. Forget her name though.

Probably in some way depending on who they are and what sites they browse. Iirc some celebs went on Neopets way back but I dunno if it was true or not to be honest. Would have been cool though.

I faked my death so I could spend the rest of my mortal life on a video game forum. The truth is out.

This made my day. At one point I used to imagine that you were actually David Bowie.

Probably at some point!
I mean, celebrities go grocery shopping, why not go on a forum?
